Hey guys, im using Digi Smart Plan for blackberry, was working great until these past few days cannot really browse properly. sites like facebook.com etc, can, but sites like forum.lowyat.net or gapnap.com or the search google using the "Go to" option cannot work. The site loads a bit only, and i notice content that are generated using server side scripts wont be displayed at all. Wat might be going on yea? My location nw is Malacca, using blackberry.net as APN. Blackberry Tour 9630 with OS 5.0. Thanks in advance

yeah same like me. i thought something screwed up with my bb browser, seem we have the same problem. I'm also on digi smart plan. Site like yahoo it load till half way, some of the web site, it say loaded, image also loaded but then it's blank with the title on top of it only.
I did called up digi but they told me the network is ok, but i don't so. The BIS is unstable, sometimes it get disconnected but there is normal 3g or edge just no BIS.
I'm in kuching. Running storm 9550 with 5.0 OS.

Yeah cahill! at least got someone with the same exact problem. So annoying, using digistrm as APN only makes things worse. coz with blackberry.net, my BIS is stable, just that cannot really browse. digistrm? BIS keeps disconnecting at a constant rate, i wonder why.

harlow don't give the wrong advice...digistrm will cause digi bb users to be charged for their usage..the correct APN for digi smart berry user is blackberry.net

digistrm is for 3g broadband of other phones..

few people here also having the same problem. Maybe due to the followings:

This is more of just a reminder for those avid BlackBerry users, that BIS 3.0 is rolling out early morning Sunday March 28th, 2010.

* There will be scheduled network maintenance by Research In Motion (RIM) affecting BIS customers between 0100 CT / 0200 EDT on March 28th and 0500 CT / 0600 EDT on March 28th.
* Blackberry will be performing a BlackBerry Internet Service v2.8 upgrade to BlackBerry Internet Service v3.0
* BlackBerry Internet Service subscribers may be unable to send or receive messages using their BlackBerry hosted email account or integrated third-party email accounts, view email attachments, activate email service, or request to see ""more"" text during the maintenance.
* Wireless service providers and device resellers may be unable to create subscriber accounts or provision services for subscribers.
* The estimated duration of impact is 4 hours and affects 100% of BIS customers

cahill: tried opera and it works! wonder wat's going on wrong. my gf's bold 9700 on digi also having problems browsing on her blackberry browser. used to be fine. seems dat it's nt a browser config error. I do notice that if the browser supplies the variable browser=net-rim to a particular site, the problem wud then occur. hmm..
