I am very sure. I have dismantled my Mini 210-1073TU to confirm. The one that Celcom gives is a better variant of Mini 210 with WWAN.
You can use any another WWAN card but whitelist hack will be necessary. Read the previous pages, I've mentioned. If you are uncertain of my reply, why don't you try inserting a SIM card. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Apr 6 2010, 12:21 PM |

QUOTE(kennywai @ Apr 7 2010, 04:20 AM) im using the original ram ( 1gb ) + 4gb sdcard with readyboost but doesnt seem to improve performance. Undervolt!=underclock. Undervolting does not affect processing speed.is it recommended to upgrade to 2gb ram ? @mengsuan : im constantly seeing the CPU going 100% by opening browsers , folders ( simple actions ) and you still want to undervolt the processor ? |

QUOTE(venicelim @ Apr 8 2010, 09:43 AM) count me in! 1. HP has recovery software. You can make recovery disc if you want to. It's all in the software.Receive HP mini from TM yesterday night! but i dun hav chance to use the netbook yet, cz it was delivered to my hometown back in penang, while i am in KL. my bro is using the netbook now. Questions here: 1) how can I make backup of the OS? like create the recovery disc or someting like tat? 2) the RAM is upgradable to 2Gb, so is there 1 slot or 2 slot? meaning can i just purchase another 1Gb to upgrade it to 2Gb? 2. 1 slot |

Push the orange latches and pull the cover. You have to pull it quite hard the first time but no worries, just pull.

HP mini 210 is running single channel double data rate memory. There isn't any paired RAM and it wouldn't run on dual channel. CPU-Z may not have added NM10 chipset within their library hence the DDR3 report.
However the memory timing of CL5 clearly shows that the computer is running on DDR2. |

QUOTE(xbbshampoo @ Apr 11 2010, 08:36 AM) YEAH ! FINALLY GET THIS NETBOOK AD XD Please don't. GMA3150 is not within supported hardware. You will not have hardware accelerated graphics. In other words, your netbook will look crippled.Add me into the userlist please TS >< Been trying to install MAC OS X onto it @@ QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Apr 11 2010, 10:38 AM) Factory default installed the Win7 in C drive (occupied 90% of the total hard disk space) without partition. How can I create a separate partition with reformat C ? Mine came with 3 partitions in total, factory configured.Added on April 11, 2010, 1:04 pm QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Apr 11 2010, 09:47 AM) Hi, Surprisingly my hp mini 210 has better reception than my laptop. My 210 is using XP ( pre installed ) with Atom 450. I find the Wireless reception of this netbook is quite poor, esp if it is used on the first floor while the modem is stationed on the ground. I use to get only best 2 bars, while my ( other ) Asus netbook manages to get 4 to 5 bars. Though, I upgrade with the latest driver, I am still faced with the same problem. Speed wise, it is pretty fast. Does anyone of you face the same problem ? Shall I send to HP service centre for a check. My is not from Telekom. It is 210-1001TU ( could be overseas model ). QUOTE(tpl @ Apr 11 2010, 09:36 PM) Common sense? sorry i don't really know about ram stuffs. Tq for the explaination. But from what you said it seems like four slot = quad channel? Oh well, we need minimum 2 slots for dual channel, minimum 3 slots for triple channel. Using 3 or 4 slots for dual channel computer will still result in dual channel operation. Using 4, 5 or 6 slot for triple channel will still be triple channel.Added on April 11, 2010, 9:38 pm Tq very much for your info. In the past of single channel computers, using 4 slots will still be single channel. It's just technical architecture and design. |

If Intel Atom is not enough, then why is HP selling netbooks running on Atom? It's marketable, definitely usable.

I was all these while satisfied with the netbook's performance although I'm used to the swiftness of i7 desktop. However, the netbook is slightly incompetent for MSN voice call. It stutters easily upon any program's CPU usage.

Run HP QuickWeb program and install.
Or if you can, you may also turn on in BIOS. |

I got one for RM13 from Lowyat Plaza. Fits perfectly. Good thing is that I can wipe with anything I want. The drawback, it makes your laptop screen glossy.
