he familiar on formating his acer laptop but not hp mini (he also thought need cdrom), hopefully he can do it for me brows.gif

as I'm really noob on this part

before reformat, use avast to boot scan and got virus

after recovery/format, use avast to boot scan again and same virus (i think is the same) still there
is it really virus or some error from avast?
should i delete, repair or ignore?
worry that EndProcess.exe is needed/important... or anyone can tell me what it is??

No, it detected as tools that can kill process, which is its intended usage...

lucky nothing, as after reformat it, will use it for online banking as well
need to ensure everything is OK

as today just heard that one of my friend's CIMB online banking been hacked and all $$ gone doh.gif

hmm, you might want to consider using virtual keyboard when inputting data during the login/transaction, just make sure no one peeking around when doing so..

I found an interesting software to tweak your bootup. It's call Soluto.

Perhaps it's worth giving a try on netbooks like Mini 210.

i got my hp mini 210 from tm's cool unipack package since april 2010...i'm planning to sell it coz i'll upgrade to acer aspire dis coming may...how much should i let it go for sale?

Been using it now after saw in howtogeek website.

Is use for disabling some unneeded start-up program and services to make boot speed faster.
It also has feature to delay or pause some start-up program.

Will be user for those who dint know how to use msconfig well coz it provide information of the services and start-up program

Want some faster OS? Lol, try Meego. Everything is there right after flipping the lid open.

Meego appears to be fully functional on HP Mini 210. Broadcom wifi works too with a simple compilation.

a good guide there for the more adventurous HP Mini 210 owners.. now i know why the Wifi doesnt work upon installation ahaha.. tongue.gif

I suppose Meego is not allowed to distribute Broadcom drivers. Similarly to its Twitter API key, it has to be downloaded manually by user.
