They are MAIN GATEWAY for international bandwidth for our (SE) region. cry.gif
All Malaysia international traffic is going thru Singapore gateway and will be interesting to see what will be international bandwidth speed. hmm.gif

*
It's mean that every high rise building (apartment) will be connected by VDSL?

Any decrese of speed over F/O?

but if its copper just at the end user point say from the bottom of ur condo to ur house but fibre from the bottom of the condo to the next interchange, how much is affected in terms of ping time.
*
Yeah,it's only from your apartment(depent of floor) to the bottom of condo.
I don't think that ping will be higher much.

Yeah something like singapore
they used copper 100mbps down but normally up very low de..
But i think singapore is going fibre optics oso probably 500mbps++ or 1gbps xD

But yeah..malaysia 20mbps is a big improvement already haha!!
Up and Down leh...no nid to stick wif 1mbps...gosh im so slow!!
*
VDSL maximum speed is 52 Mbps Down and 16 Mbps Up,with up to 1200 met lenght.
It,s mean that only upload speed and ping will be affected (a bit).
