The issue about cap is that it has to exist, but the question is how much. 60GB? Gila
I'd think they should raise it at least double/triple the previous cap amount, and Speed cap those above quota to the existing level.

However, they should also introduce pricing for those who wish to use more and can pay for it. The way it works in Canada is $2 for each GB, up to a maximum of $25

Think it this way, for each subscription of VIP package, u will get an IPTV... If u noticed, other internet provider in other countries dont give IPTV for its bundle... and for the high price of the package, in business sense, Unifi customer still in little number. Once it grower, the price should go down as the cost consumer per capital will decrease due to high duit modal from existing customer. (just like u start business, will make high/market price first (launch package), after more regular customer, u can buy things in bundle (the unit, the cable) and can give more discount to ur regular customer(the monthly fee)).....

IPTV for consumers eh?
Did you recall TM saying that if they are selling the access of the the fibre optic to other competitor, they must offer Value added service as well?
Thats anti-competitve behaviour for you.

IPTV is just a means for them to charge monopolistic prices. Heck, most people don't need this stupid IPTV. Not with its channel selection anyways.
The reason TM has a IPTV bundled is because they are a monopoly. Monopoly can do whatever they want. If the charge Rm150 for 5Mbps+IPTV, they can say it's cheap because it comes with IPTV bundle. But the trouble is, why can't I choose internet only for a cheaper price?

They don't provide us consumers with a choice. It's either you get triple play, or you get all so throttle steamix.
If we have antitrust law, TM will kena sued until their pants fall off.

TM is GLC. 1st and 2nd largest shareholder are Khazanah and KWSP which totals up to a bit less than 50% of total shares.
Unifi uses part of Government money to buildup, i.e, our money, our mom and dad's money. Why do we not have the right to complained
I'm sure you read this few pages back.

Andohbtw, AFAIK, There were other people who were interested in taking up the the HSBB project, but it was 'awarded' to TM. So basically, the G is telling TM, 'here's another new monopolistic service for you to control. And TM decided to make it harder for other competitors to join in by telling them you gotta offer 'value added service' or we won't sell you access. Besides, they are behaving like how you expect a monopolist to behave. By refusing to unbundle IPTV and tells you they are selling digital lifestyle service? What tahi lembu is this.

if it's your mommy's or daddy's money, u don't have the right to complain. it's not yours at the 1st place.

btw, the reason the government gave the rights to TM because they believe TM is the ONLY company here that is able to deliver this project & willing to spend that much money on a project this big. do u think p1 has the money to spend on something like this? haha.
it's the government who wants to give the rights to TM. so why are u blaming TM for getting the privileges?

Even if TM is a fully private company, as a consumer, we have a right to tell them that whatever we think. It's called end user feedback.

As much as I don't like it, I have to agree that TM is one of the best candidates to deliver and handle this project.
I am not blaming TM for getting the privileges. I was pointing out the fact that they are abusing this right given to them, by behaving anti-competitively.
