7 hours without sleep.. 3 hours sniffing and analyzing packets in wireshark.. 4 hours acquiring the software, setting up the proper codecs and preparing an IPTV content list from the wireshark dumps.. and finally..

REALM FIRST !

To whoever people who has installed it,

1. how was the services?
2. which package that you are using it? is it worth the money when use it?
3. Any additional charges if exceeding the monthly usage?
4. Any other hidden charges, maybe?

Please help me answer this because my family are also planning to have this service. ty
*
1. Service is great. Technician did excelent, they seal the wall after drill/cabling so rain wont get in. All cables will be covered by the white pvc plastic so wont look messy(helpfull when i put modem upstairs & STB downstairs). + after install they will sweep the floor/vacuum clean the dust from drilling. Can start surf/watch tv/phone immediately after install.
2. mine is VIP5. worth every penny, watch youtube 1080p smooth(some vids). line very stable so far download max ~650kB/s, upload havent max yet 500kB/s++
3. no monthly usage limit, they canceled it, but may implement it later
4. hidden charge if you want extra stuff like the homeplug (lan using powerline, not sure what brand they use). rm250 for a pair. they do carry it in their van, unless no stock. They will charge it on your next bill (on July, no need to pay on that day). No money involve during install. IPTV charges may come in September/October.. when package like astro + ESPN start airing biggrin.gif ...so no world cup on UniFi, next season EPL maybe?. <according to the technician

ok, this is something really makes me wonder. I would still ask here anyway.

We all know Unifi give free fix phone line call right? That means most unifi user would have canceled their copper phone line service. The real question is, does the legacy old school FAX service work on Unifi?(because someone outdated still use fax machine)

It seems not possible as i didnt see any relation between these 2 technologies or any statement TM say it will work with Unifi.

technician says can use fax machine dunno if its true
