Got a question. I am a currently using Streamyx 1Mbps package (RM99 monthly) staying at Bangsar area. The place I am staying always get struck by lightning and my equipment always got hit by it (even with Surge protector also no use) and the speed is slow most of the time.

In this kind of scenario, do you think I should upgrade it to Unifi? If I do upgrade, will there still be a high chance of the equipments getting hit by lightning? I know this is a luck question, but still I am wondering what would you do in this kind of scenario.

Am using Belkin SurgeMaster (which covers LAN and Phone Line as well). Initially it was struck by lightning, and the modem LAN port and router WAN port fried. Then sent in for warranty and got a new one. Now it's the second time, my modem LAN port fried.
