i am very confused about high speed broadband since i got my 5 mb hsbb installed a week ago.

before use hsbb : i was thinking maybe the ping will be lower of cause connection will be faster.

after used hsbb : the ping did not improve, some times disconnect and even worst ping, restart/ reload ip almost the same, surf 90% of the site only get 200kb below speed[should be getting atlist 400kb per sec = 80% of the speed]
all i can say is 90% of the time connection unstable = high ping + low download speed + disconnect most of the time.

just wonder what is high speed broadband really mean

maybe i am the unlucky one

i was thinking same thing like you said too, i gonna get a try first and thanks for your solution

i got another pc using lan cable but still slow maybe have to update lan cable to 100/1000, maybe normal 10/100 lan cable can't support 5 mb connection

every time i play any on-line game always encounter the same problem as you but no solution to fix that [suspect the problem came from TM]

i heard many people complain about the same problem as me too but non of them get fix yet so go and complain also waste of time, just look for some solution around here might have better chance

was written wrong its not lan cable is lan card for desktop

just get a test and its abnormal @@

omg... the speed is like super god light but i won't be happy so fast cause this maybe for short while
