Otherwise you would have heard about it on the media. You know how many projects go through like this in Malaysia? PLENTY. There are people who make a living out of just being the middle man and helping companies who are tendering to find contractors.

and incase you didn't know maxis has wired broadband, and time also has wired fibre lines. Also, TIME was one of the first few in Malaysia to begin with wired broadband for residential areas. You really, truly believe they don't have the expertise? You really truly think TM has better expertise and experience? You really think TM won the project based on merits? How naive can you be really.

Oh ya, TM used their own people? Then why defend themselves about hiring foreign expertise? Source. So, you still want to think TM is using their own people for the HSBB project?

You want to see what would happen if there was open bidding and a proper plan and infrastructure to give proper competition and no preference for monopoly? Take a look at how singapore planned their FTTH.

I think TM should release a package which does not includes the IPTV. I have Astro in my home but I don't watch it too often. So no point to pay the 'rental' for the extra IPTV set-top box and extra hypp.tv channels. It is a waste to subscribe to something I don't watch.

By excluding the IPTV, they can either reduce the price or increase the cap. This will definitely make more people happy.

u can ask them, if they are willingly to help, but they dont really care, they set to interleaved, sometimes high interleaved mode, which cause even higher 1st hop ping, so they dont need to fix modem blinking issue. sometimes the interleaved setting is default, they leave it as it be.

what is yr 1st hop ping? and tracert result?

has anyone tried watching youtube HD with HSBB? does is still being throttled like the old streamyx?
