I prefer to have a cap, and obtain quality speed rather than overselling. This is a world with scarce resources. There is just no such thing as unlimited.

A cap with speed reduction would be good, but of course with reasonable speed cap.

I see many people complaining about 60GB is not enough. It is definitely not sufficient, but remember, this is scarcity.

QUOTE(almaty @ Mar 27 2010, 09:58 PM)
why is the speed to US so slooooooow?

TM already knows "...It is a fact that over 80% of sites which our users access are located overseas." our usage patterns...
CODE

"This is in accordance with the standards set by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in its Determination No.5 of 2003 under the Standard on Network Performance.

This means a user should experience 70% of the subscribed speed for accessing [B]local sites[/B]; 4Mbps (megabits per second – a measure of bandwidth) represents approximately 4,000 Kbps (kilobits per second) and 70% equals 2,800 Kbps. This speed allows for a good quality surfing experience."

you pay $149 for a 5Mbit line, as long as they can provide 3,500Kbit to a LOCAL server then your line is considered OK. wow!

who cares if you cant access any INTL sites...so much for the INTERNET. shld call it malaysianet or mynet instead.

Dude no country can guarantee that as well. If you are in US, they will simply state the very same thing, they can't guarantee Asia's Traffic (Which is freaking damn expensive because of the monopoly). Not only WE suffer the slow connectivity to US countries, other Asian countries do as well.
