to those who installed UNIFI already i have a question,
i'm going to install my UNIFI next week and the question is:
will the house get messy during the installation by the TM contractors?
i heard because the need to drill here and there, the house would be quite messy.

QUOTE(rizvanrp @ Apr 15 2010, 07:26 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Spent half my day on campus and the rest of it wiring a rs232 over rj45 cable manually (Yost cable) to test out a theory. I screwed up the tx link on it though.. but.. Om nom nom 8 bit chars, 1 stop bit, no parity @ 9600 baud The DIR-615 G1 router also has a serial connector on it, gonna get a rs232 -> TTL 3.3v board soon and try to extract the firmware. Looking at dd-wrt forums it seems that it might be possible to run dd-wrt on the Unifi DIR-615 but people are saying VLAN functionality won't work which basically breaks the whole thing for us Unifi users. i'm not that good in networking but may i know the reason u are doing this? what is it u trying u achieve eh? maybe i'll bring benefit to me too
