GLC have always been stained by dirty money and politics as everyone is blinded by money while the people who put their hard earned money trusting them to provide an honest and reliable service is ignored. Even malaysia's ip backbone is owned by tm. I doubt there will be any foreign provider coming in soon as they too are disgusted by the way we do business here in malaysia and even they do come in still tm have the upper hand backed by the government.

Tm has always been king and the government wants it to stay that way as it is in their best interest, and for you waiting for foreign isp to save us it will not happen in the near future even if it does the government will be really bias towards them especially if its singtel lol

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Mar 25 2010, 04:59 PM) I want them to make the cap more reasonable at least ( my usage is roughly 300 gb ish a month )+ remove the daily cap, Or remove cap altogether; Or reduce the price so we don't need to b**** about the cap i agree, no point of them rolling out high speeds if they are only targeting users who surf and check their e-mails, heck even streamyx lowest speed could accomplish that easily unless they are trying to squeeze all the unused bandwith they can get by these customers so they could make more profit selling them to other country while still get money from monthly subscriptionAdded on March 25, 2010, 5:18 pm QUOTE(rajulkabir @ Mar 25 2010, 05:12 PM) The sad thing is, it is NOT in the government's best interest. greed blinded these people which causes them to look in their direction but not ours It is in the government's best interest to facilitate open competition in the broadband market. That will make the people happier with the government and more likely to keep them in office. It will make Malaysia a wealthier country so there is more money to go around in taxes (or even bribes). The huge problem with the government (and with many businesses here) is that they are so focused on getting RM1 today that they throw away the chance to get RM10 tomorrow. i know we are not in their shoes to know how hard it is to resist the temptation to squeeze all the money you can while you have the opportunity but what the heck This post has been edited by satoshi.mifune: Mar 25 2010, 05:18 PM |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Mar 25 2010, 05:20 PM) Or if their international atm cannot cope, then ok put cap BUT lower the damn price. When they can deliver international bandwidth 80% then hike up price. i agree, they shouldn't charge their customers premium price for fakap service because we have been through that already. Maybe our loyalty for all these years cause them to "besar kepala" and think they can do whatever they want and still earn our hard earned money. Not charge us a bomb when they cannot even deliver international bandwidth |

QUOTE(Hamas @ Mar 25 2010, 07:04 PM) guys, u r not even unifi customer so you dont have any right to complain about capping. for average internet user, the quota is more than enough. we will not even consider to waste our time complaining if we do not intend to be a customer Added on March 25, 2010, 7:36 pm QUOTE(chicaman @ Mar 25 2010, 07:29 PM) average internet user need only 1mbps for normal content I absolutely agree what is the point subscribing 5 10 20 mbps for viewing websites and email? 1mbps for viewing websites and email is more than enough! if consumers were to subscribe 5/10/20mbps, definitely they are power user who need faster speed for multimedia content. Whoever that set that cap must be brainless! This post has been edited by satoshi.mifune: Mar 25 2010, 07:36 PM |

QUOTE(Hamas @ Mar 25 2010, 08:03 PM) still have streamyx up to 4mbps choice which is uncap, so stop being so greedy and angry with unifi just because you can't download illegal movie and games faster its not long before streamyx is cap too just to "encourage" users to upgrade to unifail for higher caps and when that happens we will see who is greedy and angry.4mb adsl =RM160 "uncap" <-- this is what keeps people paying more eventho 5mb cheaper 5mb fiber =RM149 60gb cap what happens in this scenario 4mb adsl= RM160 40gb cap 5mb fiber= RM149 60gb cap This post has been edited by satoshi.mifune: Mar 25 2010, 08:14 PM |

QUOTE(fuadfadz @ Mar 25 2010, 08:33 PM) tm got fund govermnt,, govermnt take from us lolx! locally tmnet is the best choice as it's the only choice what they should do is put personal importance regarding the project aside and open up to foreign isp providers to compete with us but that will not likely to happen. better we give the hsbb project to others,, waste our money! |
