Smells like a scam to me.. Gov gave them a couple billion to lay the lines and they purposely make the package so that no one wants to sign up. In the end, they benefit cos less subscriber to deal with, less cost for them (don't need to connect the last mile fiber to subscriber's house and less equipment to buy) but still able to get the gov's money. We should start a company also.. call it LYNet. Den we propose to government that we'll supply the latest tech in broadband and once we have the money, create a few package which is ridiculously priced so that no one will subscribe.. Free money and don't need to do work also.
