Johnny steamboat have a lot. BB plaza, 1u, Alamanda, Selayang Mall.

Sunway many ppl go to Flaming Steamboat.
It is halal located just opposite of the ESSO after Sunway Pyramid.
You can check out their website.
Many fresh seafood variety with reasonable price.

Got One at Wangsa Maju,infront of Masjid Usamah i think,Kak Mah Steamboat.

ate once at the nelayan restaurant in taman tasik titiwangsa, rm 28 per head

Nelayan got steamboat. Buffet steamboat, BBQ, chinese seafood, melayu food and so on. RM 35. But I'm not sure about the taste. Many years didn't try. But I just checked their price few days ago for open table.

u can try coca restaurant at one utama. but I'm not sure halal or not, i oly know they never served pork

Saya nak bertanya, adakah "JOHNNY’S RESTAURANT" disahkan HALAL 100% oleh Jakim, baik makanan dan juga minumanya.

Ini kerana saya telah menyemak statusnya disini namun rekod tidak ditemui, malah saya pernah nampak restoran ini memaparkan status HALAL, jadi adakah sijil HALAL telah luput ataupun memang mereka tidak pernah memohon sijil HALAL.

Rata-rata pengujung adalah Masyarakat Islam, dan jika ada logo HALAL walhal tidak HALAL maka ini telah dianggap menipu serta tidak sensitif terhadap masyarakat ISLAM.

i wonder how true is the Q&A session..i also wonder how johnny got the halal certification?

Hard for me to believe it. Or else they should take action. Not just put it online where most of the people not aware of it. They should take action if it really non-Halal. That's their job.

Last nite reffering to TV3, Aduan Rakyat, they mention it is also our job not just JAKIM only.

But then, how to do our job?

JAKIM not proactive enough in Halal industry. They prefer to catch khalwat, GRO and so on. Where Halal is priority as it is food.

If it is so... no wonder lots of 'maksiat' case.. its all because all the eat & drank thing not halal. Then, the heart goes black/evil already. Becoming meat & blood already.

Can try Muhibbah Seafood Restaurant at Tmn Tun - owned by Chinese muslim. Even got surau there. Not too sure whether they have steamboat or not as vaguely remember they offer one few years ago. Can check the link

Its relatively cheap for me though. Forgot the price i think should be around RM20-30. They're ice-cream in scoops.
Its next to Ayam Bakar Wong Solo.

Most of Steamboat restaurant in this thread dont have Jakim Halal certificate except Nelayan Steamboat. Those Johnny's, Seoul garden halal certificate comes from private organization which are not certified by Jakim itself. So your choice.

speaking of steambot....where to find the steamboat pot?? so i can make some homemade steamboat...

in b4 tesco got

perhaps u may try this

1. economic idea
a) a rice cooker to boil your soup / tom yam wse
b) an electric frying pan (with flat surface)
c) all tesco seafood/vegies and meat
costing? Around 40-50 ringgit

2. buy a new bbq frying pan (around 200ringgit)
costing all will reach 250 with no ice cream and else that a steamboat restaurant may give us


3. i still will stick to my plane, where i will need a halal steamboat restaurant or kosher so then i can eat for the price of 20 to 30 with ice cream and some cuci cuci mata. hahahahaa

mmg halal, d price also cheap..
