Bro same experience here happy.gif.. actually i was too ashamed when comparing to my friends notebook regarding of sounds..
many users also experienced this you are not alone cool2.gif .. i think the speakers are really not that for loud music..

AFAIK Vostro models were for business lineups..

Just use external speaker.. thumbup.gif

mine i use only 2.1 for watching movie in my room.. Headphones if outdoors

so the vostro 3700 overheat easily when plying games ?? even the size is so big and the air flow not well ??
*
Not really overheat (OMG u gotta be kidding cry.gif ) .. u can notice the heat on the exhaust at upper left part of the deck.. but as i tested playing core gaming on a small room with 16'c aircond (yah so cold) sweat.gif i estimated it lessen the heat by 15% ahahahaha rclxms.gif IDK why.. but i thnk the aluminum casing absorbs the coldness in the room.. as of now if im going to play core games i prefer playing on a room with a cold temp..

u mean this laptop only work on cooling eviromnet den the temp for laptop will drop ... this mean the air flow still no good lor .. even they say wat aluminim casing la and so and so .... so the laptop consider had bad air flow lo
*
sweat.gif nope sir thats not what i mean.. i only said what i preffered environment to play with.. just an extra precautions while coregaming to avoid future problems.. and it really helps.. i dont have any cooling peripherals or accessories to help me with in the first place.. biggrin.gif the notebooks air flow is ok to me.. So please dont misunderstood.. icon_rolleyes.gif

As of now i have no problems encountered with this machine yet..
Fresh from delivery up to now i ddint change any settings..

for me notebooks lifespan usually depends on how owners take care of it.. nod.gif

Hey guys.. just to let you know that i have experience their service about 3 weeks ago.. and it was very efficient! rclxms.gif

i called to the Customer Service regarding my faulty AC adapter (Just suddenly not working** good thing i charged up my batteries) then do the checking identification *blah * blah *blah and informed me that they're going to changer my adapter by tomorrow.

Then on the next day.. not reaching 24hrs ETA.. a courier just buzzed my office to deliver the package (a new adapter) and took my faulty adapter.. very simple, quick and efficient..

woah! very nice.. 2 thmbs up! thumbup.gif

biggrin.gif im very proud to be an owner of this machine..

Actually i asked the CS if i buy the adapter thru cash direct or CC.. the price was a shocking 300+rm.. cry.gif

hmm.. AFIK they have an option to extend the warranty.. anyway my warranty is just for 1 year only..

QUOTE(waeguk @ Aug 9 2010, 07:45 PM)
The question is whether they are as efficient after warranty expires and how they charge then
