Can't say. BUT, if Nintendo is following the Xbox route, lets hope we still see some region free games for the 3DS. Region locking is almost confirmed (in my heart, I believe it is already), but we have to still wait and see.

Then again, developers have always had the choice to limit to the game to certain regions as it wishes. At least they know they can do free region. Then its all good.
