If have to wear glasses, why not just go for polarized? It works on all existing sources and TVs and doesn't make the TV look blur when watching without the glasses.

In theory Astro could take the 3D feed of the World cup and convert it to polarized. Instant 3D.

Anaglyph, however... avoid.
