Fro city dweller, it is not an option anymore. We used to be able to get all the nutrient from the food that we eat. But due to commercial agriculture which leads to serious soil depletion, most fruits and veges that we consumed only provide about 8 - 12 types of minerals whereas our daily need is about 68 types minerals.
Don't go for those multivitamin that has chemicals inside it. Looks for a those natural whole food solution.
Also, it is not just the minerals that we are lacking, we will need to take care of those excessive free radicals that attack our body...life is tough man!
