Yup, good reference though tongue.gif....well, people must know that, though the GPU is the same (like wise HD4570) but if the VRAM is uses is different, also give different result nod.gif...

HD4570 DDR2 <<< HD4570 GDDR3

Anyone has contacts who have stock Lenovo Y460? I tried calling around, but no luck. Maybe I missed some. Best if can be in Lowyat/PJ Digital Mall.

Thanks!

For the time being..there's no A42Jr with i5 520M, the only one available in MY is i5 430M, but maybe in near future (well i hope so too, maybe around a month time), the unit with A42Jr i5 520M will pop up nod.gif

ASUS vs Lenovo? of course ASUS lur... and imo, ASUS warrenty is better than dell now, since they offer international warrenty. Also if dell's studio series were an indication of their current quality, the ASUS wins as well.

International warranty is considered pros if you're studying oversea/businessman who travels a lot. Hence, there's not much to elaborate. Many OEMs are doing good on RMA such as Asus, Dell, Lenovo, and HP. Others might still have flaws but I do believe they're doing their best to serve their customers. It really depends on what you prefer. onsite or carry in. HP Asus provide carry in service. HP does promise their customers they'll fix it in a week/5 business days which is good. Lenovo provide both carry in and on site. Dell provides on site exclusively. rclxms.gif

international warranty does not mean anything to me since i wont be staying at out of malaysia for long

even travel also few days nia, so ok la

hm...yea, just notice lenovo can on site also...good good. but tak tau kena pay extra berapa :S

Added on April 12, 2010, 10:13 pmbtw, i much prefer on-site if it's like dell one

coz they come to my place, terus replace whatever is rosak, and go, then i can use liao

i no need bring my lappie go there, then leave it for repair, then wait few days again only can collect it back

btw, really wonder isit so easy anot for lenovo to replace the parts like dell anot

for my case, dell on site repair is awesome, usually they wont ask much question and terus hantar their tech ppl come

haiz...why la dell GC no better one sad.gif

Well, Alienware M11x is for gaming mobility, meaning that with a 11.6" laptop which is portable/mobile, gaming is not a problem...but the throw-back for M11x is the CPU it uses...there's no XPS 14...only got Studio 14, Studio 15 & SXPS 16 nod.gif...

Well, Dell already got Alienware/SXPS as their gaming series so no point for Studio & Inspiron to be the same nod.gif..well, just hope in due time Alienware will come out with 13" icon_idea.gif
