i would like to buy some reit for long term and for dividend yield.
any one can give me some ideaa hehehehe
*
I like Atrium, Arreit and Hektar. Why? Because the div is paid quarterly and at my buying price, the yield is attractive enough. I only treat a counter as high div counters if the yield is extremely high, or if at least 6%, it will need to pay me quarterly. Using this way, I can have the feeling of keep getting cash coming in.

Arreit under e-dividend already?

Just last month, still receive Amfirst and Atrium dividend through cheque.
So not all across in e-dividend.

I also just got my Hektar and Atrium div not long ago. Tomorrow can check whether Arreit is using the e-div with my mum.

Thats y i choose ARREIT as most of its debt are fixed rates. However, i do have some concern on the booming of office space.

However, most of its properties are leased to AMANAH RAYA etc. So should have mitigate the risk.

I got the div check already...u? thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

icon_rolleyes.gif Yes, others follow blindly in selling AL-AQAR KPJ REIT at a very very much lower price.......my advice to all is this.......sapu as much as you can if they still dump their AL-AQAR KPJ REIT shares cheaply......I will do too
thumbup.gif Mind you AL-AQAR KPJ REIT pays good dividend too, T.E. too .......much better than dividend paid by Stareit, QCapita, etc, etc.  I sapu lots of AL-AQAR KPJ REIT when it's price falls to 1.11 rclxm9.gif .......thank you to all those stupid morons who throw away their AL-AQAR KPJ REIT shares at this low, low price......you all make me a very happy person indeed. notworthy.gif So now I just sit back & collect my good rental for another 15 years. rclxm9.gif
thumbup.gif So once again a big thank you to all those who sold their AL-AQAR KPJ REIT shares to me....... notworthy.gif ardei ga-toe notworthy.gif
wub.gif Cheers to all....much love.

Will include this in my next shopping basket since Arreit already inch up a little. Mind telling why the div is TE while others not?

That was quarterly result - 10-Feb-2010
Whereas, income distribution - 20-Jan-2010
*
I think last time distribute earlier because there is private placement or injection of fund or stuff like that.

Is it worth it to have auto-reinvest ? By the way, today REITs also took a beating. Chance to topup wink.gif

=====
Axis REIT: Proposes income reinvestment plan. Axis Real Estate Investment
Trust (Axis REIT) has proposed a plan that enables unit holders to reinvest their
cash distribution received into new units. Also, the property manager to issue up to
75.18m new units, representing up to 20% of the existing approved fund size.

[Sorry for being a noob. Buying REIT got time frame of 20 days one meh? I thought is just buy and keep, then sell whenever you want?
*

[/quote]
no time frame. The best is buy and keep , treat as your alternative FD with some price fluctuations.
Calculating yield ( DPU/reit price) is important, personally I feel , as long as yield >7.5% is attractive.

Any more REIT still trading with 7.5% yield?

Stareit gross yield 8.11% = 6.9 cents (when the new property injection completed) / 0.85 = 8.11%

Hope it plunge to 0.82~0.83.  tongue.gif

Will look into it. Problem is Stareit current price is just about 2-3 lower than the last time when I sold it and in fact it become the slowest REIT counters. Anyway, will relook into it since Arreit run too far. Tomorrow will try to Q Arreit at 0.94 and 1 lot at 0.96 or 0.97, before making decision to buy Stareit or not.

I also try not to Q already. Got a stocks, I try to Q at the current buy Q.....and not getting it, next day straight away fly. Should I buy it first on that day itself with 0.01 higher, I don't even have to keep the stocks after T+3
