for PS, it's more on RAM and CPU...

my friend has a Pentium E2180 oc rig but 8GB of RAM for his PS jobs, runs flawlessly... the GPU only helps to a limited extent...

Speaking of RAM, bro, sorry if I ask here,
but I was wondering whether to use 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 for my lappy (Toshiba offers both in the laptop and can be switchable)?
The people at the shop said that its not advisable to use 64-bit W7 for the moment cause there are a lot of incompatibility issues, is that true? O___O
I'm underusing my RAM at the moment  rclxub.gif
Thanks  1st~~

all i can say the salesman is talking rubbish...

i ve been using Windows x64 since the days of Vista, and i had never have any compatibility problem... during the Vista days it was hard to hunt for 64-bit drivers, but now it's much easier...

on top of that, i ve never has BSOD on Vista x64 and Win7 x64, unless i use beta drivers...

even my netbook with 1GB RAM is also running Win7 x64 as well...

dun understand...

the only problem that really have problem with 64-bit OS are the 16-bit apps, which MS has decided to remove support in the OS totally...

if u can't install a certain app in Win7 (be it 32-bit or 64-bit), chances are the program is too old to run on Win NT 6 totally...
