gaming and ps are 2 different things...

most adobe softwares like ps and ai require more from procs rather the gc.....

even my housemates' c2d e8400 sometimes struggling with ps heavy files...

+1....the little beast was not meant for multimedia stuff, it is for pure raw gaming, i think asus a4/a52jr or acer 5740g can cope with those softwares

Speaking of RAM, bro, sorry if I ask here,
but I was wondering whether to use 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 for my lappy (Toshiba offers both in the laptop and can be switchable)?
The people at the shop said that its not advisable to use 64-bit W7 for the moment cause there are a lot of incompatibility issues, is that true? O___O
I'm underusing my RAM at the moment rclxub.gif
Thanks 1st~~

with the budget, u can get another laptop better than M11x bro..
Is true that photo editing software is needed more in proc and not in GC..
so u can choose a best proc for ur laptop ..
a i5 or i7 chipset is suit for photo editing.. try look for Dell studio 15..

for PS, it's more on RAM and CPU...

my friend has a Pentium E2180 oc rig but 8GB of RAM for his PS jobs, runs flawlessly... the GPU only helps to a limited extent...

all i can say the salesman is talking rubbish...

i ve been using Windows x64 since the days of Vista, and i had never have any compatibility problem... during the Vista days it was hard to hunt for 64-bit drivers, but now it's much easier...

on top of that, i ve never has BSOD on Vista x64 and Win7 x64, unless i use beta drivers...

even my netbook with 1GB RAM is also running Win7 x64 as well...
