Arremie, IMO it should degrades the sound in one way or another as sound signal is not travelled direct from amp to speakers. You know music listening is kind of very sensitive (if you're a serious type). The best way is still plug & unplug 2 sets of speaker cables. You won't watch movie and next minute switch on the cd player do you?

Added on March 18, 2010, 7:28 pmIF you have moolah, get another set of speakers to cater for your music listening. I have seen many owners in my city who owned 2 sets of equipments. 1 for HT & another for hifi. I can only dream.....*_*
