I used to be an Iphone user...

I have Iphone 2G and Iphone 3Gs.

after 5 days since i bought my Nexus one from Irwan... I started to feel that Nexus 1 is actually a better phone compare to iphone.

Let me list out 8 reasons.

1) Actions are snappier. This is hard to quantify, but things seem to happen faster and crisper on a Nexus One than on an iPhone. bcoz of it's 1 ghz snapdragon.....biggrin.gif

2) Multi Tasking!!! alot of iphone users r complaining about this issue...

3) Flash from Camera. Maybe Apple designers are always in well-lit enviroment, but I'm not... biggrin.gif

4) Voice input! and it rox!!! much accurate compare to iphone...

5)Bigger and Crispier Screen... nothing to argue about that...

6)NO ITUNE!!! I can pull in and out songs whenever and where ever I want!!!

7)I can root it...

8)Battery is replaceable...

Yah ! I do agree with you . I am too a iPhone user - used it fully barely 2 weeks ; most of time now in the drawers. I use it once a while just to listen to podcasts and audio books on the plane when I go overseas. What a waste !!!

My main phone is still htc HD2 ( best windows non keybaord WM I have ever use ). The Nexus one is still a new gad to me - was very very dissapointed with it on day one as I found builtin programs too basic ; on day 2 after root and install some 3rd party replacement programs - I felt better.

Glad you like your new Android device. Let me give you a little insight on the voice input feature. I realize that it doesn't work if your data is disabled. Which let me to think that the voice recognition process is done off the phone and at one of Google's servers. Obviously the servers would have more processing power and better accuracy than to be done on the phone.

But I'm a little skeptical if that would proceed Google with more user preference data to help its service. Its not all that bad but it gives me a rather suspicious feeling that we're giving Google a lot more than just using their programs.
