Thanks for your explanation bro, I booked mine from a Naza Kia branch (SS17).

Just got a call from my SA bout 30 mins ago, he gave me some news, saying that they are ready to do allocation for the 2.0 unit booked from that branch (not sure if other bro here book the 2.0 from Subang SS17?) this 1-2 days, so once the chassis number is available can go ahead with JPJ registration and insurance. I have agreed to my SA that I will pay the full downpayment once chassis number has been allocated to me.

But having JPJ registration doesn't mean we can get the car soon, base on what some of our bros here faced with the 1.6 previously.

I understand from my SA that there are about 17 units of 2.0 "reserved" for SS17 branch so far and they will work down the list, starting with people who booked in December onwards. Hopefully there are enough units in stock to cater for all 17 from this branch.

Anyway, just thought I give an update. Hope other bros here can contact their SA and see if the "story" is the same

wish my car arrives before the TT - definitely I will join it..........

Added on March 16, 2010, 4:14 pmmy SA jut told me once my agreement signed this Thurs, and obtain the LOU he will log in the system to get the chassis number/engine number, and once my dealer and me pay the downpayment, he will get the car within 2 weeks after getting the documents in order etc. Hope this is the same for everyone here.

Bring this rude SMS reply to NazaKia or dealer's boss for their explanation.
Why SA can treat their customer like that??? 

I heard many negative feedback from our Forte member about their SA services...
Let report to our MyForteClub as reference and become guideline for new buyer to select good SA..

Arrgghh.....Naza is so screwed up.....you would think that they would already have gotten all the allocation done by this week...... I am thinking that if they do not get the allocation done by next week, all of us potential 2.0 buyers should go to NAZA HQ on 29 March 2010 at 9:00 a.m. itself to demand an explanation for all the delays and when they can start delivering the cars....   Everyone is welcomed to support us. What do you guys think? Fed up with Naza's excuses...    

haha, i also damn wanted to take the car today, but need to settle work 1st......if not boss is not going to let me off lah.....

They ask me to pay downpayment saying car would be allocated on Monday. Yesterday bumped into the Branch Manager, say no news. This is really a joke. Why ask for money when you can't allocate a car?

I visited the KIA Dealer yesterday (supply KIA emblem). He bring me to see a 2.0 Forte at their back yarld.. Man, this dealer have many Forte in their yard.. And he said, Only in May they can do the registration for this 2.0..

speak to the SA about the 2.0 issue, he said 2.0 issue still not solve yet.... tan sri is still in talk with the country top management to release the car due to complain from proton, seem like they proton want protect their perdana or the replacement model future which will be sold at 110k...
he also said last time 1.6 also same issue... just that 1.6 complain from T and H. but proton is more difficult to deal with because gov protect mah....

dun know how true is the SA telling.

Mine also allocated (I was #4 in the list)! I was told K1 received last week & car now ready for registration 

i think discussed b4... last time almost everyone has that sound when the car's moving from stationary. till now after 3 months still got but heck... dun think it's something serious

After inquring mykad no. and (hopefully really) checking the system... told me that my name IS NOT in booking system. I told her that i booked from a dealer in December and mentioned the dealer company.

She told me that ALMOST ALL that book 2.0 from branch has been allocated .. however for dealer bookings, she can't really check coz the info was not accessible to her at the time. Took my h/phone no. and said she'll call back.

Hopefully she calls back today coz my SA has no concrete news ...

Maybe book from dealer in Alor Setar can get early coz nearer to Gurun. Dealer can just drive off car .. no need truck.

finally, my FORTE (actually it's my mum car.. haha) already arrive! Very satisfied user here.

I think the concept of alarm: the one that makes noise when broken into doesn't really work anymore these days. Who gives 2 secs to look at a ringing alarm?

The best is to implement some lock which is harder to break like pedal locks. I heard that H Ci*** group has been doing this for their cars. I think it'll void the warranty in a few ways but i think it's definitely better than some noise making device.

Congratulations to everyone who has managed to get their allocated 2.0  Sorry if I am sounding jealous but I just had a tiff with my SA who says that allocation is still not started . Therefore, I want to compile a list of branches that have got confirmed allocations. I am planning to speak to my SA's manager to see if I can get things moving faster

For door pocket, i'm very2 interested due to its practicality..wonder if the price can be set a bit lower if we purchase it in group? RM150-160 would be reasonable

Anyway, the silver colored door pocket, is it match perfectly with the nearby silver lining (near the power window switch)? If the color is perfectly match, just count me in 

Heard from my SA most 2.0 still stuck in port klang even tho chassis number allocated. Dont know how long it will take from here on. SHUCKS!
