Guys, does your car makes "chik chik chik" noise when the aircon is on?

The noise goes on permanently until i off my aircon.

Just called my SA to do follow up & make some noise regarding my 2.0. He said the AP cert will be ready by today & my car can be registered either 2moro or the day after 2moro..meaning this weeklah. He ask me to go to JPJ with him when my car is ready to be registered to speed up the process & i said i'm already in standby mode for that. I said, just call me, & i will be at JPJ in no time. See whether this time it will become a reality or not..2 days & counting...

Bro..(if u have it) could u PM me Mr. Vijay's (HQ Branch Manager) HP no? I want to add some more noise. need to be proactive now as what other bro hear did in order to get the car fast...

For other Fortezens about to receive their car - please do not I repeat do not ask your SA to use the single row number plate ( like the boot version) for your front - it looks terribly ut of balance even with 4 number and four alphabets - because there is like a 3 inch open space at left and right - I did mine but my SA managed to ask the stockyard guy to do a new square one for me....phew, for the photo of the ppl preparing the bodykit maybe izputra here can take some better shots, mine came out blurry.

is it faster to go to rawang and collect the car or wait for it to be delivered to the showroom?

Confirmed..my car registered already at late afternoon today. I decided to wait until 2moro morning to pick up my car since it is late already..it is hard to check the car in detail if going to dark already. Thanks to God, my wait is going to end very2 soon

last nite while i'm driving back from airport, without my notice i already reach 180km/h!!!!

hmm good question, to bros who already collect the car, does the Forte come with the iPod cable? Becos I read that if you use the normal Apple cable, the iPhone 3G/3GS will not be detected..need to use Kia's cable

any bros out there tried their 3GS on the Forte yet?

yes..the cable is provided....during the car collection, make sure you check and ask for it....

you need to use the kia's cable and it is written in the manual...
however, once connected, if you want to change song, you need to use car panel..I prefer if we could use the ipod wheel scroll...

and make sure the connection is properly done, coz it took 2 days for me to figure out why the ipod is not detected...mine is using ipod video 4G...

For all 2.0 owners, wondering whats the fc of yer forte. Mine 90 percent city drives is about 13 to 14 liter/100km, which is quite bad in my opinion. My full tank will last about 350km only.

OK GUYS! got my new ride just this afternoon. 2.0 SX!!! However very unlucky today, took the car and was driving to the gas station from the warehouse and guess what? ran out of gas!!! Zzzz....

ok so far driving back to office i notice a few things on my ride which you guys have mentioned b4:

1. wheel alignment problem (steers to the left)
2. yik Yik sound from the drivers seat belt
3. Really light steering control
4. Good pickup
5. Too bouncy once you reach 140 km/h.
6. aerodynamics of the car during high speed and cross wind a bit of a worry to me
