Just collected my 2.0 this afternoon from Rawang. Arrived there at 2.30 pm  check the car less than 30 minutes and got stuck there for 2 hours beacuse of heavy rain. Saw a batch of new 2.0 in white just arrived by truck. My odometer reads 4km only which I think they must have turn off the trip meter as I don't think puspakom is that close.

Make sure you choose a day when the weather is good beacuse they don't have a proper place for you to check the car. There is only 1 covered bay in Rawang. The other thing is that they only pump 3 liters of petrol so don't leave the engine running too long. Petronas is at the bottom of the hill.

I am not much of a car expert but my brother who has test driven the New Honda City says that the 2.0 is way better than the Honda City (better refinement and power). So the bottom line is the car is worth every cent that you pay for. I did not find any blotches in the leather seat and they are very nice to seat in.

I did not ask for any freebies from my SA as he is a new guy just joined Naza but very helpful. He gave me a RM350 voucher for Raytech. Security tint is RM800 for the whole car.

I forgot to mention that now is a good time to book the 1.6sx as he says that car can be delivered within a week. I saw quite a number of forte waiting to be collected.

Yeah.. I wonder also..

bros, i'm thinking of minor mods of the engine

1. change spark plug platinum/iridium (should i change cable also? available here?)
2. change K&N filter or similar. where can get this filter?

will any of this void warranty? when its time to change spark plug at kia SC, i can refuse to buy their spark plug rite bcoz platinum/iridium don't need to change as often... any other idea of minor mods? thx

i noticed there's some sort of "yik yik" noise/sound on the driver's side when the car is moving....i dont think it's normal coz it bothers me....i tried shutting off the aircon coz someone mentioned that it could be the aircond but not cured

anyone knows what is that sound and how to get rid of it? Thanks guyz

Confirmed..my car registered already at late afternoon today. I decided to wait until 2moro morning to pick up my car since it is late already..it is hard to check the car in detail if going to dark already. Thanks to God, my wait is going to end very2 soon

Those that follow the convoy will be escorted inside stadium were we are allocated special parking space for photoshoots & special competition for our sexy cars. Pls come so we can show a large Forte following & meet those in the future to help us address our concerns. It'll make our Mega TT a little easier as well if u get my drift.... hahaha

So far noises i found from my 3 weeks old forte:

1) aircon noise (when turn on the ac, the noice last for around 10 secs, and a short one while i try to changing the temperature)
2) rattling noise from door panel (when passing the uneven road)
3) noise while i put gear to reverse (a "glak" sound, like my old car)

Should i go sc and check for the following issues?

hmm good question, to bros who already collect the car, does the Forte come with the iPod cable? Becos I read that if you use the normal Apple cable, the iPhone 3G/3GS will not be detected..need to use Kia's cable

any bros out there tried their 3GS on the Forte yet?

That's a Koup. The Koup bumper doesn't look good on the Forte sedan to be honest... too ahbeng-ish for the mild-mannered looking sedan and it's one of the reasons I didn't go for the Lancer. But of course, looks are subjective.
