I visited the KIA Dealer yesterday (supply KIA emblem). He bring me to see a 2.0 Forte at their back yarld.. Man, this dealer have many Forte in their yard.. And he said, Only in May they can do the registration for this 2.0..

Wonder they warm up the car or not since the car has been here for few months already.

I have pumped Shell, BHP, Caltex & recently Petronas. Can feel that Caltex is powerful! All fuels give almost similar mileage. First time pump Petronas, reset trip computer, after driving 15km, it read 5.8L/100km. The best so far. Now after some city driving, shot up to 7.4L/100km.

It's the first time that I've heard someone's Forte computer showing low FC after filling up. Most of the time it will overcalculate and show 13-15L/100km before gradually dropping to the average 8-10L/100km. 7.4 in city driving is still pretty good; for city I usually get 8 on the display although the real-life, manually calculated numbers are not surprisingly higher.

Anyway, clear SLR bling bling shots of the K5.... hell... want... new... car.... nowwwwwwww.......

receive my forte last nite, today accident...   luckily i drive my other car...    good decision 4 me not to drive forte bcoz not yet change emblem.. hahaha...

My car have water leaking!    right under the engine room. Yes! it is water not oil cause when i stop my car i found liquid dripping under the car, and i touch it with my hand. I guess this happen from the 1st day I get the car. I would say it dripping all the way I driving.

Anybody facing this issue? Need to send back to SC for checking? Is this serious?  

Sure? How can I determine it's coming from aircond? Maybe I off the aircond and drive awhile, then see if stil got dripping or not.  
Anyway, how to solve this issue? Got it covered within warranty?

Tested City, Civic & Forte today...

The Honda sales more professional compared to the Forte sales guy (tak-apa style). Car wise, City seems better in terms of handling but Forte is more fun to drive.

Civic is nice but my feeling is if I going for Civic price range, I'll get a Lancer GT. Haven't has chance to test Lancer yet. But I think for my usage, I'll probably get the City or Forte...

Richard, guess wat happened to my BMW. I need to put all the accessories then send to spray paint for the whole car (change colour) only able to ride my car beginning of April (which is same time as 2.0 delivery) muahahhahah. Didnt expected that i need spend dam alot for accessories, BMW = bayar manyak wang or Bila Mati Wang x ada.

I noticed that my IPOD is fully charged all the time... does the audio system charge the IPOD when it is connected to the car?

The Mazda 2 wont take over anything. I am one who waited to but this car and guess what... Berjaya did a number on this car... no EBD, no BA no tripmeter, no foldable side mirrors...nothing...a really basic car. No water repellent seats, cheap interior plastic and even the battery is water type. Well, thats history now...the same day i test drove the Mazda 2... was the same day I booked the Forte 2.0

Can't wait for my new car and allocation, heard that the pioneer's who booked the car in Nov are gonna get it soon.

Bumpers are supposed to be soft nowadays, unlike the older cars which have a black hard strip across it. The Forte's bumper does indeed give one the impression of being overly soft, but it has its purpose by being flexible. My Forte got kissed on the butt before by an emergency-braking Camry and luckily there wasn't even a scratch nor a dent. Only two very tiny nibs visible beneath the rear bumper which you won't see unless you squat down and look for it.

Hi, does anyone here encounter the situation where your Forte is parked under the hot sun for quite awhile and once you turn on the aircond, it takes a good 20 - 30 mins before the car actually becomes cool?

I have been experiencing this (I just got my car about a week ago) and it only seems to happen when the car is parked under the hot sun (I know you will need some time before the car becomes cool but 20-30 mins?? [and sweating during that time?!]) and the aircond seems to be 'alternating' between hot and cool air.

I'm going to bring this up at the SC but just want to know if anybody had this prob and if so, what seems to be the issue.

The door pocket is good stuff. Rm180 for 4 pockets??? I saw on Mancando website, are they selling same price or higher?

For door pocket, i'm very2 interested due to its practicality..wonder if the price can be set a bit lower if we purchase it in group? RM150-160 would be reasonable

Anyway, the silver colored door pocket, is it match perfectly with the nearby silver lining (near the power window switch)? If the color is perfectly match, just count me in
