why i thnk VC color abit errrr sux? any tips how to improve? was comparing with sigma 1850. i thnk sigma color better but i alrdy bought VC so i want to know how to utilize it. any1 can help me out? i admit it sharper then kit lens but not so sharp at F2.8 compare to 116.

The downside of that Nikkor is lack of VR .

Nikon got superb high ISO to compensate shakes... for short range... no VR no problem.

Wouldnt say it is the same, but very contrasty, and bring out the details that are usually not flattering for portraits like wrinkles, and everything else

If it is Dave Hill, I think it is quite mild. Dave Hill really pushes it but good picture nonetheless hehe
