QUOTE(paskal @ Aug 16 2010, 06:59 AM) 7MC with MediaBrowser have the ability to separate your files into isolated custom categories like concerts, music videos, bluray bdmv, low definition, high definition and yada yada. with xbmc, you're stuck with videos and movies. You means 7MC are better than XBMC? |

Right now my XBMC have videos, movies and tv show. Try to setup music video if can. |

I think 7MC don't have scapper which is nessesary for me.
7MC just display meaningless black thumbnail for video file. BTW, I no doubt that 7MC are great and nice for photo & music. This post has been edited by minimize: Aug 17 2010, 07:40 AM |

QUOTE(paskal @ Oct 6 2010, 04:01 PM) i'm still using 10.6. no problem whatsoever for me. already downloaded the 10.9, but lazy to fix something that's not broken haha Yup.. nothing important feature in 10.9 unless you playing game The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena or S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat in ATI 5870, 5770 and 5970.got some free time tomorrow. maybe i'll try the 10.9 to see if i have any color banding. and p/s: i've never had any issues with scaling issues using either the VGA port, DVI port nor the HDMI |

Anyone already try setup your HTPC to boot directly to XBMC using EventGhost Method?
It will make HTPC functions like an 'appliance'. |

QUOTE(paskal @ Oct 27 2010, 11:28 AM) yes you can. you can lock programs to display on which monitor. I already put in startup folder, but when my HTPC start, windows taskbar is always in-front of XBMC screen. I have to manually click on XBMC screen and then I can use my remote control. What should I do to make XBMC start in fully full screen. i used to. just put the xbmc shortcut in the startup folder inside start menu. |

QUOTE(eric84cool @ Nov 12 2010, 10:40 PM) For the audio output, where you going to plug to? Can I plug it to cinema amplifier, I own Pioneer VSX 820 but just curious one thing, since the soundcard in DELL ZINO ables to produce 7.1 THX while my pioneer could support that as well. I just confuse how you going to link between this 3...speakers, amplifier and HTPC? I think HTPC will connect to AMP via HDMI and AMP will be connect to speaker via speaker cableHTPC -> AMP -> Speaker |

QUOTE(jchue73 @ Nov 19 2010, 06:44 PM) Yeah, I'm aware of this. Only thing coming from AMD / ATI that can do bitstream is the ATI 5xxx graphics card. Just buy one la That's correct. For those who are stuck with G45 / P45 chipset platform like myself, the ATI 5xxx or the Asus Xonar soundcard is the way to go. Anyway, what's the point of TrueHD bitstreaming when I don't have an AVR and speakers to fully utilise it? Mostly all latest AVR nowdays already have a TrueHD/DTS-HD feature. |
