same N97 FM transmitter very weak. Must put phone near antenna. For N900 i can put anywhere it works fine clear and sharp.

plug your USB cable to your phone when using the FM transmitter and let it dangling around. works wonder , tested by me and many other people before. will boost your reception by at least 2-3x times in obstacle area, and up to 5-6 times in straight line.

lol spotcheck, remind me of my good old days, when we were the top class in form 5, and naturally, the most prefect in the class, since it's considered the class with most "good" student back then. Rest are mostly samsengs and the like tongue.gif So, me being a prefect at that time also brought with me mobile phone everyday (even though it's not allowed) and everytime there's an imminent spotcheck, we will always get the news first (insider job ma biggrin.gif), so we will spread the news and help our non-prefect friends smuggle the phone out because we prefects, wont be checked. That's how almost our entire class have mobile phone without getting caught. So basically, even though our class were the best academically, we were also the most illegal class in the whole school. LOL. Fun time fun time!

eh mine also got, but i'm not too bothered about it, in fact i didn't even realize it was there until you point it out. the gap appears on the top of the phone but the bottom one is fine. I guess it's always been like this. and yes, i use the keyboard A LOT! tongue.gif
