I removed BEWT and JoikuSpot already .. other than tat wat apps got, i analysed only got widgets but scared to removed, then later it wont work ..

i face similar issue, hang n auto close in 5800 OVI store, but got back fine after reinstall latest OVI .. i think its the bug ..

1. Goto open place / or any other place where u can spend 10 minutes on own
2. Lock the N97 using A-GPS
4. Leave the phone on table, dont hold it n dont move it ..

Try n see

not adding much apps, i'm removing
- apps said by aspire2oo6
- startup junks
- removed indonesian / bahasa melayu
- add little stuffs

tat means phone hangs at startup, reformat ure memory card using DOS command

Not exactly, there are locked maps and free maps, locked maps usually are very detailed and high effient compared with free maps.

Its very hard to get locked maps, even if u get it, the map cant be used, since its hard-coded by the mappers u need to contact them to unlock it ..

im not sure how efficient is the map since its not premium edition, as a personal advise i suggest u keep handy both Garmin and Nokia OVI Maps into the device for ure ease

its not smiley, but symbols .. like "heart love" shape .. some stuffs like u can find in windings font in windows

ooooo.. u need download australian map using nokia map loader if not u cant see ure coordinate on the screen ..
