Bro, I think it's in Connectivity, then Transfer?
Is that what you want? smile.gif

I see only data transfer and sync. But i did not saw the Ovi synchronize. I want to retrieve the contacts online from my Ovi store.

u can try this way
*
I want to sync to the Ovi server, bro like the Nokia 5800.

QUOTE(hengguowei @ Dec 7 2010, 02:22 PM)
I think he wants to sync from phone to OVI server.
I think can but on N97 don't have the settings by default. Unlike X6, have it.
*
Nokia 5800 also have this function as well. Looks like i can only try to find out after my exam finishes.

N97 got lens cover (supposedly in early models scratch the lens but later rectified)
N97 bigger screen (3.5 vs 3.2 on the mini)
N97 heavier (more feel?  whistling.gif )
*
1. Yes it has lens cover, but it have scratched my lens. cry.gif New model does not have this problem.
2. Yes, bigger screen i like it. thumbup.gif , but lack of RAM. Sometime always restart itself after open the handset.
3. Some people don't like heavy, but i like heavy duty stuff.

If Nokia have put 1Ghz processor and 512MB of RAM, it might be able to beat iphone.

Depends. It is normal to have a better desire, but i really wish to sell it if i can. My dad placed a restrictive covenant: DO NOT SELL HIS HP! while i am using it. cry.gif cry.gif

U buy tis phone how much tat time ?
*
When my dad bought this phone, it is 2.4k doh.gif

I told him not to buy the new release Nokia handphone, but he did not listen. At the end i am using it.

By the way, when i charge my N97, i found out that after i unplug the charger from the plug; the N97 still charging.

I feel weird, so i left it in my bag pack and when i take out after i reached home, it is still charging. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

What is going on??

I am using the Nokia original charger anyway.

ive try slick...seems like okay..but jsut wonder if got anything better say nokia development IM apps....

and one more thing guys, since this n97 used usb to charge...izzit okay if forever i use the usb on my pc to charge up the phone instead of using the normal homeplug charger....i found out tat charging with usb port on my pc is alot more convenient, so i like to continue charging my phone this way...izzit okay..or there's a bad side effect..?

thanks
*
It is always better if you can off the phone when charging. My Nokia N97 used by my sister got problem already. Its battery is quite weak, same goes to my sister N97 mini. When asked, she have a common habit when she charge these 2 phones: charging it when it is switch on and use it to sms and talking over the phone.

You can always charge it when it is on and get the consequences faced by my sister and me now.

so usb port charging vs wallplug charging, is there any different between those 2 method, any different, bad side effect etc etc
*
So far, i think the major problem is that users tend to charge the phones when it is on and still using it.

I have to say that is Nokia phones' battery are not capable of withstanding such charging in the long term.

after one week with this phone.. Ive found out tat its quite slow, if compare to the like of xm5800 and x6, and battery life is short too,,maybhe becaused of the qwerty.. But when ym and web surfing, with qwerty kb and bigger 3.5 inch screen, this is where n97 really shine..
*
It is drink battery power like M1 fuel consumption. I need 5 hours to fully charge the original battery.

Try using it very little. I use my X6 about 1 hour every night and I managed to squeeze out around 4 days  shocking.gif

Use for what? You did not use it for the normal daily usage?

Still it is not enough. Nokia N97 have 1500mah battery, but the problem lies with its consumption rate. I have to find ways to reduce the consumptions. Any ways to reduce the power consumptions for Nokia N97 like does not use the slide show for the background.
