Hey all,

Have a question for everyone here:

When you're pressing the menu key, call key and end call key on the phone, do you feel like the top part of the phone is tapping the lower half? By top part I mean the display/screen portion tapping against the keyboard portion. I don't know, at least I can't recall this happening when I first bought the phone and for the first few months, but it is becoming irritating as I now subconsciously will look out for this occurrence and it pains me to know it happens.

Plus now there seems to be quite a gap between the top portion and lower portion of the phone that when you press the keys mentioned above, you can see the two portions touch.

Anyone else experience this? Plus the silver coating around the phone is wearing off, especially near the camera and volume keys (I suspect due to the in-box pouch). How much did it cost you guys to have this fixed for you?

This is what worries me, that I'd have to visit a NCC..and having dealt with NCCs before (internally), I'm afraid to have to deal with them now as a customer. But since my phones' condition is not normal as you don't have the problem, guess I've no choice but to go. Warranty ends June so will have to do this soon.

I concur, had my phones' silver rim changed for free at NCC 1-Utama a couple weeks ago. Admittedly it took a little longer than I expected but I went there on a Saturday, dropped phone there at 12.30pm and collected it at 10.15pm on the same day. Also requested for a software update so that could've contributed for the longer wait time.

Also asked to have a new back cover. Would've cost RM17 (iirc) but at the time no stock.
