HDPro Media Player works almost perfectly. Although i have not play around with it very long time. However, i do notice a few things.
It seem not having a function like auto volume level (normalization on the fly). This end up i have to +/- vol when watching different files I do wish to have this
auto switching between 16:9 and 4:3, although not necessary.
Well these r only my wishlist.

QUOTE(hydyeh @ Mar 12 2010, 06:41 PM) I have not heard of any hdd media player that has auto volume normalization feature. Are there such hdd media player that has audio normalization function? well.. before i am using HDPRO. i did get a hand on "mobile media player". it has a setting at the music - auto volume "on / off". I did some sample test on it. it does balance the volume of played file. But this player no downmix sound. that why i turn to HDPRO. Sometime things never get perfect... is it? unless its HTPC with XBMC.

QUOTE(coldzerotarget @ Mar 20 2010, 07:45 PM) I don't think you understand what the 'earth' point on a plug is about. The 'earth' point on a plug serves as the grounding source for the electrical item in instances when there is power surge either through faulty internal components or from the power supply. Unless your unit comes with a three-pin plug as standard, then there is no difference whichever source the power plug is connected to, as there is only two pins on the plug for 'live' and 'neutral'. Secondly, some computer component design uses the metal casing as a sort of grounding as well, similar to the concept of car batteries grounding on the car chassis. So, if this is indeed the design employed by the manufacturer on the HD-Pro, then it will be a normal instance to feel the slight electrical tingle depending on whether the person touching it is directly 'grounded' or not. However, my question again is if there is anybody that has the similar experience, please do say so. I do not wish to make a hasty warranty claim from Yangxi, nor do I wish to risk the safety of my harddisk inside the HD-Pro in case this is a sign of it being faulty. As long as the unit on. the leakage is there. Yes the 2 pin plug will not have any "Earth" there. My unit does. However my unit works, yes my unit has hdd put inside. The leakage is found to be the problem on the AC-DC SMPS Adapter. ( just plug in the adapter n on without connect the hdpro, use ur hand to touch the dc voltage plug which suppose to connect hdpro, its shock.) I think what u mean is this. However, do anyone face this problem? sudden black screen and restore while playing the movie? (Using HDMI Connection)
