Thanks for the brief review. How many GB are your mp4 files? Have you tried files above 8GB in MKV containers?

QUOTE(tracktion3 @ Mar 11 2010, 08:08 AM) Now with this baby. my 40" Samsung LCd Ttrue HD looks really good. Well would be great if you can really test 1080p files. 2G files usually won't pose much problem to process/stream. If the media player is unable to do it then it can be thrown into the trash bin!Btw.. the mp4 files I got only around 2G. Interesting how the result looks like. Especially UP. Will be testing DVD.ISO. I dont have BD.ISO though. Adtionally, I think this new firmware have problem playing Youtube. The rest are ok. Watching the movie UP on 1080p is much much more than interesting especially on your 40" Samsung LCd Ttrue HD! I hate watching youtube on 40" panel. |

QUOTE(sws @ Jan 4 2011, 01:19 AM) And if I have a HDTV with Internet, which I can plug in my USB or stream movie from my pc to the tv, do I still need this player? Depends on the features and support of your HDTV's media player. Is there a built-in media player in the first place, and is it more better than HDPro? |
