helob...try to remux it and assembly it back...use this software...very easy..takes less than 10min for 720p.

There are many Remux software, but try this first

Sometimes remuxing is like a miracle

Remuxing is mixing .mkv file together?

if downmix, then stereo only, no more digital audio

That's mean must use HDMI cable then only can enable TrueHD or DTS-HD?

Component video cable only carry video, no audio at all. You have to separately connect audio either using the red/white RCA ports (which is stereo) or using the SPDIF/optical digital ports (which is 5.1). For TrueHD or DTS-MA, you will need connect HDMI to a HDMI-amplifier that supports TrueHD/DTS-MA.
*
So RCA ports can't enable TrueHD/DTS-MA?

No. Only left/right channel (stereo) using RCA port which you can output through your TV speakers (no need home theatre if you don't have one).

The best audio you can output without using HDMI cable is using SPDIF or the optical audio ports which is DTS and Dolby Digital (5.1 channels) but you will require a home theatre receiver that supports the audio formats.

Haha, looks like I need to change my old plasma TV to the one with HDMI port.

Added on December 7, 2010, 2:36 pmActually i got a Pioneer AV receiver vsx-820 which support trueHD/DTS-MA, so in that receiver i need to look for SPDIF so it can enable the DTS?

Err ... maybe you misunderstand ... the problem is not with your TV. It's the HDMI receiver (home theatre) that supports TrueHD or DTS-MA that you are missing.

You can still connect like this:
CODE

HDPro --------------> HDMI home theatre receiver  -------------------> TV
            HDMI                                            Component

and you can get TrueHD or DTS-MA audio
*
That's mean from HDPRO to AV receiver i can use HDMI cable, from AV receiver to TV without using HDMI cable is working?

Yes because you are just want video from AV receiver to TV.

Unfortunately, I just checked the Pioneer VSX-820 connections and found out that it can just output HDMI and there's no component video output.

So, yes, you'll need HDMI input on your TV. Back to square one.

Edit:

Wait a minute. How do you connect your HDPro to your TV now? If using component video direct to TV, you can still use the HDMI to the VSX-820 for audio only. Then you can get TrueHD/DTS-MA/DTS/DD.
*
The Pioneer VSX-820 got component video output.

I connect the HDPRO to TV using high grade component video cable, then using RCB connect from TV to VSX-820. So now i can change the RCB to HDMI for TV to VSX-820?

If VSX-820 has got component video output, you can try the first method i.e. HDPro ---> HDMI ---> VSX-820 ---> Component Video ---> TV.

Otherwise, (1) HDPro ---> Component Video ---> TV (for video only) (2) HDPro ---> HDMI ---> VSX-820 (for audio only)

Thanks man! I'll try it out today.

Added on December 7, 2010, 5:58 pmSo, if i set this (1) HDPro ---> Component Video ---> TV (for video only) (2) HDPro ---> HDMI ---> VSX-820 (for audio only), can enjoy TRUEHD/DTS-MA?

I tried this (1) HDPro ---> Component Video ---> TV (for video only) (2) HDPro ---> HDMI ---> VSX-820 (for audio only) yesterday.

I'm not sure the TrueHD/DTS-MA is it enabled or not yet, but the logo of them didn't display out on the AV receiver.
