I tried this with sprint dash motor, managed to get 19-20 seconds only for the previous track.
Really don't know how to lighten it.

-super speed gear
-gear bearings
-axle bearings
-grease added
-light centre chassis
-bumperless front and back chassis
-large diameter wheel
-eneloop NiMH batteries 2000 MaH...

its because u use sprint dash on MS PRO thats why... tongue.gif
kalau 2 wheel drive, lagi lagi rear wheel saja...cornering slow.

btw, have you tried to use other roller ball bearings e.g 19mm, 9mm? maybe u should change to plastic wheels as it is lighter, and of course clear cover. this should be able to shave off at least 1 sec off without major mods.

clean the bearings with RC cleaner...and forget the grease lah. try using zippo lighter fluid for lubrication.

thats what i thought...how come mspro can put sprint dash wan

ya, you are right, it is not supposed to be equipped with sprint dash but hyper dash is slower after trying it out, so i tested on sprint dash...it worked afaster (=
erm, 19mm and 9mm, i don't have that bearings yet. Are they better?

Ya, clear cover is another option to improve the speed...zippo lighter fluid...gotta check it out what's that first but does it dry fast like alcohol?

zippo fluid dries quick, something like alchohol. and no problems of staining the track too...

i suggest trying out the 9mm bearings, theyre cheap and prettty fast. not to mention that u can 'upgrade' the bearings by fitting a 520 bearing inside the 9mm.

maybe your HDpro is dying out on u, change to a new one and test again.

ya choycp, if it dries fast, how is it going to smoothen the gears?
well I have 3 hyper-dash pro.
one is totally clean.
one is already opened cleaned with hexane(a kind of volatile hydrocarbon), and the end of motor bells are lubricated with oil.
one is sprayed with alcohol cleaner through its hole and the ends of the bell are also lubricated with oil to avoid squeeky sound while running.

BUt the one which is opened performs the best, but yet still can't be as fast as sprint dash )=

in other words, run the bearings dry. when u keeping the car, oil the bearing so it doesnt rust. tq tq
*
erm, sorry, you mean the zippo fluid is for motor or bearings?
because I didn't use anything on the bearings, just the gears only.
