I just tried one pair of rechargeable GP battery 1600mah 1.2v. It is faster than the normal energizer battery 1.5v. How come my hyperdash use alot of juice from the energizer battery? if i use rechargeable it goes faster. if normal battery like energizer the speed is slower..and after two or three laps it become slow is it because of my hyper dash motor like to drink more energy from energizer battery? Or maybe my hyperdash motor that i bought few weeks back maybe a little bit problem. does this problem applys to everyone?

1.2v how come can have more power than 1.5v?

What 1600 mah for? the bigger the value the longer time it will last? any battery that has 2000 above?
which rechargeable battery better? cause for what i think here...if everytime use energizer battery during practice sure waste lot of money buy energizer battery.

so two battery power will be 3.0v for energizer and 2.4v for GP battery.
but how come 3.0v cannot produce that kind of speed? or is it i dun have gold plated terminals that make my car cannot get the highest performance from the alkaline battery energizer? cause normally when we race it is going to be energizer only.

the rechargble battery has a higher power output ... (if i`m right)

how ever the higher power output omes at a cost.. the motor may burn itself out due to the excessive voltage .

excessive current output not voltage... rechargeble batts haz lower voltage than alkaline coz they enjoice.

i do not enjoice, it killed my light dash . lol

haha i dunno how the heck u guys kill ur motors.. i use rechargeables almost 99% of the time. no problem.. haha

rechargables - more consistant power output over a few laps

thats my observation.

motor using alot of juice, can mean alot of things. one way to reduce the power usage it is to ensure all ur moving parts are clean also try to lessen friction in the gearbox. u can get up to 3200mah iinm.. but highest i saw used in tamiya so far is 2700. larger mah also means harder to put into the chassis. not all batterys are the same size.

but do be careful of ur motors when using rechargeable. a motor that has been run ALOT with rechargeable wont really be able to get to speed with alkaline and also easier to kill with rechagables . so if u want to use rechagables. have alot of spare motors

well, i work in ttdi which is quite near to TU but still no chance to go. yesterday i purposely take off day and went for a mission. i go to all the toycity and toy shops that i used to buy my parts in kl. to my surprise and maybe just my luck,i was able to buy some old parts,enough for 1 1/2 car. but still no engine. maybe i should get the new chassis since i see at TU,most of u guys use them.

yupp... u better go T.U trus la..yesterday i come, still got light dash n hyperdash (for ms pro). basic frp side extension rm13. gear bearing rm23, hi-speed gear 3.5:1 rm 19..erm..
screw set D rm15.
if got more budget, go buy rm50 evo part dat used for roller front+rear setting .

most parts are for ms chassis, istill using zero

current track layout is nice la..simple but a bit tricky..front bumper also patah even i support the front with double plate frp..hehe

so now i'm thinking on how to convert from 'bumper patah' into bumperless.

tomatok, this matter has been told to everyone newbie here in this forum, you cant use non-tamiya parts...all the toycity shop in klang valley mostly have # 9 products and not tamiya... if you want , you can go Daisheng Petaling Street and check out some of the tamiya parts there..i bought my hologram stickers from there. the guy will have 2 plastic bags , one tamiya parts and one #9 products..

I love bumperless car.
