hi,
I just bought a 4310 denon amp with xq50 KEF, i had my old Jamo 875 e speakers however they seem to not do the trick. I was able to get a 505 REL for a really good deal so that is done. Can anyone recommend which speakers to get. I am fairly new in this small home theater stuff therefore really confused. I could also change the Xq50 with iq60 c not sure if that would be a wise choice however major concern are the front speakers... can anyone help me out here. Thank in advance

Thank in advance imho, i am biased towards getting speakers from the same manufacturer/series (with the exception of the sub) - similar sonic signature, acoustic characteristics and all that mumbo jumbo. i am also biased towards KEF. having said that, you've made an excellent choice in the xq50. i see no reason why you would want to "downgrade" to the iQ series. i'd suggest you keep the xq50 and pair that with the equally excellent xq30 or xq40.

Yes, getting the same range of KEF as front would be the safe bet here to get the correct timbre matching. As front is not cheap, partnering any other brand with different tonal characteristic is quite risky.
Btw, aint a Denon sifu.
