Haha yeap, I noticed! My friend told me of that offer at XS but you already bought it. Let us all know how it performs on your system. When will you be receiving it? Hehe about time we see some SLI performance around here! Do let me know though if you plan on selling it within the next few weeks otherwise I will have to purchase brand new This post has been edited by De_Cruelz: May 9 2005, 12:11 PM

Hehe nice! Keep us posted on your results. Looks like someone's gonna top the 3DMark05 list by a far margin soon How much you willing to let go the X850XT for? Anyways consider the SLI setup sold if I haven't got myself one in the next few weeks. Currently pending lots of payments to my account

Hey no worries gavlim! This is after all the DFI NF4 thread Here's a screenie I took while running prime blend to test mem stability awhile back before I RMA-ed my mobo. I was using the OCZ 600 Powerstream with all rails at default voltage I think. Well, not exactly what you requested with idle/load. I must say though that the PSU will handle anything you can throw at it as I have yet to touch the adjustable rails yet. Paid $320 AUD for it. Not sure of its price in KL though

Well, I guess you get what you pay for. I must say that it's the best performing PSU thus far. I'll put it to the test more once I setup my SLI and watercooling Damn, my new SLI-DR should be arriving today. It's already 5pm and nothing yet though. I guess i'll only be getting it tomorrow

kianwee, i'm not 100% sure but I think you need to run your ram in 2T. If you're running in 1T that might be the reason why its unstable.
Btw, got the Venice from the US? How much did you pay for it?

Well I got 1Gb of Twinmos Speed Premium with UTT chips. Wouldn't boot on 310 BIOS at default. Have to jump start using my BH6 then replace with the TMSP to get it up and running. Now it seems my TMSP is dead as it won't boot. One of the sticks I tested is not working No signs of burn whatsoever though, it just won't boot.

Are both your sticks running properly now Evo? These UTT chips really don't seem to be that good after all. There's just so many cases of dead RAM with UTT chips nowadays.
How's the new 510 doing for you?

Hmm, now I've got another problem. I've resetted to optimized settings but upon boot up, I get just a blank screen after all the POST stuff. To be more precise, the blank screen appears after the Verifying DMI pool data or CMOS checksum something...
I've tried resetting CMOS, load optimized defaults and it I still can't seem to boot into WinXP. I tried to boot of a CD and it wouldn't boot too. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for that Evo! I'm using SATA drives though so I guess that doesn't apply to me I flashed to the latest 510 BIOS and still the same problem. It's weird though as the HDD is detected upon bootup and it shows in the NV HDD. For some reason it's not booting the HDD.

Hmmm, I found out what was my problem. It wasn't any of my HDD after all. It was my corrupted OS that stopped me from booting into WinXP. I think it got corrupted as I was shooting for 260 X 11 with my BH6. Did a quick Win Repair and it booted it again fine. The TMSP could do that no problems but now 1 stick is dead This post has been edited by De_Cruelz: May 14 2005, 07:13 PM

Evo, what exactly did you do to revive your TMSP? I tried mine again once and managed to boot in with just the problematic stick. After that it wouldn't boot already and I got lazy so decided to put it back in the cover. Hopefully I can make the RAM work again. I'm already short of so much money and a dead stick now is gonna set me back more

Evo, so does the TMSP still overclock the same or it overclocks lower now?

Evo, thanks bro! I'll try my Twinmos again later. Weird though suddenly it just stop functioning? Currently burning in my BH6 at 258Mhz with 3.5vdimm. 12 hours already and seems to be doing just fine

tictac, thanks for posting! Some very valuable feedback there. I'll try my TMSP again later and see what happens. I think it should be working just fine except for the 'bug'.

If I remember correctly: 510-1 TCCD 510-2 BH5/UTT 510-3 BHT/UTT or TCCD (More general BIOS) There's no 'only' for this or that RAM. Above is merely a general usage guideline. You can only tell which BIOS works best for you by trying the different BIOS's. It shouldn't be that hard to determine which BIOS works better for you after trying several. The trick is to set the new BIOS similar to what you set in your previous 'best' BIOS and check stability using the built in memtest. If its not stable, try tuning the timings a little(tigher or looser) and increase/decrease voltages. If you get plenty of errors, it usually won't be your 'best' BIOS. Using that method I can very quickly determine which BIOS suits me best. For me, so far BIOS's with the 310 (510-3 BIOS) mem table seems to work best for me This post has been edited by De_Cruelz: May 22 2005, 10:05 PM

Sorry to hear about the faulty ram remysix. Do you have a friend you can ask to test the ram? I doubt the problem is due to a 20 pin psu since you're only trying to run at default settings. If official BIOS still returns errors at your ram default setttings they should approve RMA without asking anymore questions.
