Told you the Thuban chips is healthier due to GlobalFoundries related.
They seems producing better chip.Whoever getting 8xx series chipset is good because Bulldozer supports it.

Unfortunately,im going to wait for the proc to release before sambar the mobo whistling.gif

kthxbye RM 800 board..i will wait for 870 series price drop instead whistling.gif

Anyway, here some news for notebook areas biggrin.gif

"AMD has suggested that it wants to be a bigger player in the mobile space, and to help do that, the Santa Clara chip maker is getting ready to release a handful of triple- and quad-core mobile processors.

In addition to the Phenom II X4 N930 clocked at 2.1GHz, AMD plans to release at least three other Phenom II X4 chips. One of them will be the P920, a 1.6GHz part that consumes just 25W of power. Higher up the performance totem pole, AMD will offer the X930 Black Edition processor. This one will come clocked at 2.3GHz and consume 45W of power, making it better suited for bigger laptops and desktop replacements.

As for the company's tri-core plans, AMD will introduce the Phenom II X3 P830, a 1.8GHz part with a 25W TDP. That's 300MHz slower than the N830, which carries a 35W TDP.

AMD will also release a handful of dual-core chips, including the Phenom II N620 (2.8Ghz, 35W), [cool.gifPhenom II X620 Black Edition (3.1Ghz, 45W)
, Turion II P520 (2.3GHz, 1MB L2 cache per core, 25W), Turion II N530 (2.5GHz, 1MB L2 cache per core, 25W), Athlon II P320 (2.1GHz, 512K per core, 25W), and N330 (2.3GHz, 512K per core, 35W)."[/B]

Finally Triple Core and Quad Core is here..on mobile biggrin.gif
I wonder why AMD released Black Edition for Mobile? Some more the TDP very low(considering it is about the same as desktop - -.

Want hear fudzilla news?

AMD Phenom II X4 960T not cancelled

Should be available, eventually

According to our info, AMD's Thuban based Phenom II X4 960T is not canceled but rather just delayed. Unfortunately, our sources were not clear about the specific date but were pretty sure that it will come eventually.

As you may remember, Legitreviews.com reported yesterday that the "unlocking-friendly" Phenom II X4 960T will be limited to OEMs and probably paired up with a non-unlockable motherboard. Our sources suggested that it is a mere delay and that the noted CPU will indeed be available.

We are not sure if AMD will change something and make it less "unlockable" in that process, or when it will actually be available, but for now, we are hearing that it will be available in retail, sooner or later.

actually if we look here n there.. it's quite the same if manage to let go all and get the new one..

i would consider X6 coz got new tech, new features from mobo with a bit faster peripherals.. the chance of upgrading also is more..

with that q9550 the most only QX line up..

with X6 ofcourse we got extra cores..
extra cores mean alot even though the benchmark showing it on par @ intel's quaddy..

same goes when we moving from dual core to quaddy.. but now i can feel the waiting time between the two.. more cores indeed smoother on heavy/alot of apps load up.. it's my trend now.. so it's a must..

u can try looking on minimum fps while gaming.. X6 actually give better result.. though most of reviewers not reveal them...

+ have chance of having Bulldozer on Current chipset smile.gif (actually can consider 90% compatible with Bulldozer already)

I prefer the one with very accurate increament/decreament of voltage settings.

I forgot what mobo.. i think Asus got volts increament.

Normal one like 1.42V increase 1.45V..no option to choose 1.43 or 1.44 - -..

What mobo have very specific increament?

Gigabyte MA770UT3DP

And i think most gigabyte mobo affected.
Ask some gigabyte users here..but most of them reapplied TIM or replace the cooler which i dont for some cases.

My NB if touch now walalaaalala much hotter than GPU doh.gif (even in stock, not overclocking)

I should be looking for cheapo heatsink to cool of my PWM - -..

why all of sudden bashin gigabyte? imo, every brand got their shortcomings... for me gigabyte always offer one of d best build quality, solid bios (award), & above average ocbility. asus premium boards are always something for d lust, but price wise always outta reach, software/bios support are top notch thou. biostar offer decent build quality + one of d best (detailed) bios for oc (could be better if they use award instead of ami) while msi boards are quite benchable, even those of value line.  smile.gif

premium or value, i dun trust d stock coolin unless i've tested 'em myself. for me, manufacturers can do better w/ d coolin especially chipset, sucky thermal paste + squarish protective sponge are always d culprit why users are gettin high load temp. a 'lil efforts in cleanin d stock paste + passively cool stock cooler (or replace it w/ a 3rd party one which not necessarily expensive) will do d job well enuf.  nod.gif

i believe most of us here buy our board becoz we gone thru reviews in xs or other reputable forums. so if we're not gettin d desired result, is that rite that we can simply point fingers to d board? if other can achieve great things w/ same piece of board, isn't it d problem lies within ourselves?  hmm.gif
*
Chill..im not saying gigabyte is sucks or what..
I choose gigabyte because of its features including from reviews i rad.

IMO how many normal users know to replace the TIM or whatsoever.for me its actually fine but then most people out there dont know about this.

Anyway..any suggestions for me to buy PWM heatsink for meh Gigabyte mobo?
And how u guys "tampal" on top of it?3M tape ka?

Kunta...u updated?i scare update cos later cannot unlock pula..Why you upgrade btw?
And what the problems?failed to unlock?
