?Wasted?I dont think so..The price about the same as 965 BE but overclocks much better than it and free X2?Maybe they need to test X6 overclocks.I need to know how it overclocks with 6 cores.

TDP AMD is true.AMD calculate their TDP by max while Intel by average.I think cloudwan has said before.
EG : TDP AMD state is 125W which means if load 100% it wont exceed 125W. |

QUOTE(cloudwan @ Apr 19 2010, 08:21 PM) Don't bet ur life on that dual bios thingy, for me its all for show, my cousin kaput his MA770T-UD3P recently due to problem in flashing his bios.. Actually it does..Last time whereas my OCing settings fail too much it automatically change into 2nd Bios..Strangely after few times of uses it reverts back to normal(most probably after update BIOS).In the manual it says that it will automatically uses the 2nd bios if problem with the 1st but it never did.. There is one thing u need to do to manually activate the 2nd BIOS..there is a way..try find it.. |

Have u guys seen the Phenom II X6 review?
As i expected,it is very recomended for New user or old user want to upgrade. Not recomended for Intel users since the performance is on par or better than it. I can conclude that. Phenom II X6 1055T is as fast as Core i7 920(not clock-clock of course) or about 5% slower than it.(stock vs stock) Most overclocks stable at 4Ghz. I recomend u guys see this review, other review i saw quite biased.. http://www.guru3d.com/article/phenom-ii-x6...-1090t-review/1 |

+ better overclocking capabilities..
I can feel that 960T can easily stable 4.0Ghz + on air.. |

There's no problems actually.Because its still in safe volts as spec by AMD.
You just need to have proper cooling. On USA/cooler country, they even have their processor 1.55V 24/7 no problems but there are cool. We here very hot,so we need better cooling if want 1.55V 24/7.It wont really harm the processor. |

Some nice infos here
Below is phail google translated. (PCGHardware) "Background: Llano Llano is the code name for the first offshoot of the "Fusion" program. The "APU" is a DX11 GPU HD5000 unit, modeled on the family and up to four CPU cores of the current generation of K10- unite , as early as next 32nm process, however, made. This is Llano is the direct answer to Intel's current and upcoming Clarkdale Sandy Bridge CPU, which also have an integrated graphics unit. Details of the graphic units of Llano and Sandy Bridge have been little known, only the increased integration into the CPU structure (eg, connection via the L3 cache) in the latter is regarded as assured. In both cases, the GPU power for players to be uninteresting, at Intel are added frequently driver problems. First test specimens of Llano are already being delivered , the launch is announced until the beginning of 2011. Information on the platform were not so far made, the integrated graphics unit and the availability of such information for other projects can expect a new development. Background: Bulldozer Code-named Bulldozer AMD developed over several years, the successor to the K10 architecture (Phenom, Phenom II). Since the latter "only" a modification of the K8 architecture (Athlon 64, K9 K8L or in the case of the Athlon 64 X2) with more cores and L3 cache was its core area in turn has great similarity to the K7 (Athlon, Athlon XP), is bulldozer as the largest step in AMD's CPU development since the start of this millennium. Among other things, two CPU cores to a "combined module", which divides control logic, L2 cache and FPU (Floating Point ", floating point) units. More information on implementation and performance are still unknown. What is certain is only that process the decoder units a module at least two threads, and thus provide both cores independent of each other with work. The joint FPU unit is also divided into two parts and can be fully used by a core or half each of two cores simultaneously in rapid change. Production of the first bulldozer desktop CPU will be in 32nm SOI and a platform base and is expected to come AM3 8xx series chipsets are used. The delivery will be done but only in the first half of 2011." Have fun or no? |
