yup, but sometimes it depends on how gud is d combo (chi+board+ram). if all are ok, 3.5~3.7GHz is doable w/ some luck.

no doubt be chips have higher mileage bro, what i wanna say is htt oc on deneb definitely improved over older generation in b2/b3. 3xx htt aint easy but is possible. shouldn't generalized d mileage as 0922 batches are known to be one of d best batch of 550BE, my bad.

i believe it's not d problem of htt bro, it's d mileage of d chip, even w/ higher multi + lower htt it won't go far from 3.3GHz, ofcoz we are talkin about friendly voltage here...

propus is a curse to my fren...

1.4v, but his ahsos board always undervolt around 0.02~0.04v during load.

some are 1.325v iirc, especially those golden batch.

yup, it's like that, for unlocked b50 @ 3.1GHz, they also gave 1.325~1.35v, w/ such voltage, at least 3.3GHz is doable, for better chips, they can do as high as 3.5~3.6GHz. our beloved sis xixo run her x4 b50 @ 3.2GHz w/ 1.1v only if my memory serve me well...

i hate ahsos for overpriced in sg, i hate ahsos's distro (d one b4, current one ok) for their below par service, i hate ahsos for makin my friend to buy ahsos board (instead of giga)...

wrong... it should be an s3x cores sittin on top on d board...

erm... lemme tell u why my friend kena poisoned:

1. decent build quality
2. oc decently
3. perfect layout for huge pci-e sound card + cf setup
4. not bad lookin

nothing great, but decent oc from my friend... sadly one of d 2 locked cores is not healthy enuf to prime stable...

u were from intel b4? amd bios not complicated at all, especially lower end series. i rike award bios but this biostar go change from award (690 series) to ami bios (7xx series onwards). arghhhhh!!!!

nothing much actually, oc related @ ai tweaker page, core control @ another, d rest are io related or integrated devices...

tips wise, not so sure bout others but i found that stability affected alot by amount of vdimm. make sure u pump enuf vdimm to make d oc'ed setup stable.
not for me, but it can serve as imergency backup gfx should d discrete gfx die or down...

ya ya... x6 is damn gud lah, jom upgrade then throw me d c3...

what i noticed is:

on idle > vcore in cpu-z almost always = vcore in bios - 0.02v notch
on load > vcore in cpu-z almost always =vcore in bios - 0.05xv *

no doubt d vdroop is abit too much, but u'll noticed that during load, vcore stay stably unless when prime is on small fft tests (<512k), u'll get 0.016 vdroop more while on large fft tests (> 512k), d voltage stay d same as *

no overvolt for my case, but ofcoz it applicable on x4 & below only...

yup, vdimm plays an important role to stabilize oc'ed system, didn't noticed that until i tried d x3 450... once u give enuf vdimm, there's nothing holdin u back unless u hit d wall of d chip...

why not try 1600 @ cas 8 or lower instead of 1700 cas 9 bro? lax timing is always a nono... run memtest then u'll get what i mean... cas 6 is just fantastic... especially 6-6-6 or 6-7-6...

don bother bro... 1055 is on d way soon...

usb k/b? plug into usb3 ports mebe? my case it's not hang but not detected, but if switch to usb2 ports, it's fine. initial bios clock d best for non thuban chips from iwhat i tested.
