Is there any sites that inform when a company will announce their quarter results? I can't find it in bursa malaysia website.
*
No there isn't one as it is not fixed. But normally it would be roughly the same time every quarter for individual stocks. You can check Bursa website historical announcements and see roughly when each quarter the company you are monitoring releases the report.

QUOTE(David_Brent @ Mar 12 2010, 12:39 AM)
One of the reasons investors like dividends so much is that they think they can’t be fudged. Every other number in the annual accounts can be massaged and manipulated, dolled up or played down, embellished or hidden away, but not the actual number in hard cash paid out to shareholders each year.

Dividends help to keep directors straight. They require companies to come up with actual cash and they exert a useful discipline on managements eager to borrow cash or spend it but less keen on distributing it to the owners.

A test of any company chief is their knowledge of the dividend record. It’s amazing how few can tell you when the divi was last cut. Some express vague surprise that anyone should care very much — a good “sell” signal, that one.

Dividends account for the vast majority of total return from shares. That footling 2 or 3 per cent yield may not seem much in the middle of a bull market when capital values are rocketing. But in the long-term most equity gains are down to dividends.

Will TAGB's share price readjust downwards? What will the effect be for TAGB-PA?

why has it to readjust downward ?
*
Because of new shares creation. The number of total shares increase so EPS goes down and share prices adjusted down.

Added on March 18, 2010, 4:01 pmand i have a noob question... take E&O for example..
1) share purchased into treasury.. means share buy back and = good right?
2) how to actually explain additional listing (is it the company listing more share to gain more fund from public?) and what are the pros n cons eh?
*
1) Share buybacks when the company don't think it's share is properly priced and when they got lots of cash to spare. Some think its good as it supports the share price, some think its bad because the company is wasting money.

2) Additional listing of shares normally via rights will net the company the exercise money. But extra shares means less profits per share.

thanks for the reply..

1) share buy back when the company think the share is not properly priced? mind to elaborate more or got any example? or is there any link that i can read more?
then it is bad bcoz company spent money to buy own share rather than expand the company is it?

2) u mean like additional share listing from E&O will result in less profit per share right? but in return, the company get more cash?
*
1) Best if you read it up yourself at Investopedia.com There are very good guides in there.

2) Yes company will get some cash from it. Refer to website above for further explanation.
