It does not make a difference.
Strange thing is that the `rear` plug needs to go in the `side` to work on 5.1. So i set it to 7.1, that way the `rear` entrance works.
When plugging it into `side` and choosing 5.1, it give me the same weird sound.

@ mr doctor. Ive noticed using different media players help. Foobar didnt make is vibrate, but Media player classic did
edit: issue seems to be with the xonar d2 as they function fine on my onboard audio. Time to get a different audio card. ( and i just sold my creative pro xD)
