MAG Double XP Weekend Starts April 29
With our free “Fast Attack” Gear Pack headed to the PlayStation Store on April 29, it seems like the perfect window to bring back a favorite event of ours here at Zipper Interactive, the Double XP weekend!

Starting at 12am Pacific/3am Eastern/ 8am GMT on April 29, any player who logs onto MAG and plays as they normally do will receive Double XP. Of course, this bonus also extends to Veterans who already have an XP bonus of their own (go percentile stacking!), so if you’ve been around for awhile the rewards are even higher! Just be sure to complete every game you play, as the bonus is not applied until the end of a match – quit early, and the bonus will not activate.

Our MAG Fast Attack Gear Pack Double XP promotion will run until 11:59pm Pacific Time on Sunday, May 2.

Note: Though the Double XP promotion begins at 12am PDT, access to the free DLC pack itself will vary by region and will not necessarily be available at the same time as the extra experience points.

Eh ? Well, the 175.144.xx.xx ip is good...havent got any dc at all playing MAG so far.

last time before any patches (or at least 1 only during around launch day) never had so many bugs!

patch after patch seems to get worse such as respawn/stuck in bunker bug.

really dissapointed with Zipper.

ANYONE tried the 8888 dns yet with MAG? im sick of redialling just to get 175 ip.

What worries me that the no. of players are reducing.

the expansion dlc should be free or else people that left would be harder to attract back

G-Mate’s Mag Gun Xbox 360, PS3 controller wins FCC approval

It’s hard not to love first person shooters, but controlling a shooter with a typical controller isn’t very realistic.  That’s why G-Mate designed the Mag Gun, pictured above.  The Mag Gun enables users to actually aim and shoot the gun like they would with a real weapon.  Additionally, the Mag Gun has a series of configurable keys, joysticks and pads that can be used to duplicate the functionality of keys on the Xbox 360 or PS3 controllers.

For example, the analog stick on the Mag Gun’s front grip controls strafing and forward/back movements.  There are also a series of buttons on the gun’s back grip.  Since all of these buttons are customizable, the Mag Gun can work with most shooters on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms.

Check out the videos below to see the Mag Gun in action.  We’re not sure when the device will be released, or how much it will cost, but G-Mate passed the device through the FCC today, suggesting that a release date will be coming soon.
