For those people who play the game and suddenly the game freezes and your speakers are making strange sounds and you have to make a hard reboot to play again..........................

Solution:Get a new dedicated sound card

There is an issue with BC2 and integrated sound cards especially REALTEK

I got this from http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/436128.page

I got the same problem as well but problem only appears when using 64bit windows 7, when using 32bit windows 7 lesser problems but with BSOD.

Hmm.. sorry my bad. The drivers were from my mobo site which was newer than what i had anyway. But after updating it, gone were the stuck sound and BSOD.

Try this tho if you haven't Realtek

I tried the drivers from the site doesn't seem to work, tried the driver from the mobo (ASUS) site but after starting the game crashes immediately like a few seconds in the game but this was on a 64 bit windows 7. Windows 7 32 bit seems to work fine but I get the occasional BSOS, so not too bad. So it appears to me like 64bit with bfbc2 has come issue. But not sure what yet? shocking.gif
