I am a new proud owner of the ROCCAT Kone[+] & ROCCAT Kave 5.1. I just have one question currently I've got the headphones plugged to my laptop so not enjoying the 5.1 surround sound which is no problem. Is it important which jack I plugin. Right now I'm using the green one works fine and the sound is incredible. I'll be getting a desktop soon and will experience the full potential later smile.gif. I am still contemplating which keyboard to get next month then I'll complete the set.

Wah! Valo price for a keyboard is RM519. Bloody hell keyboard price is nearly reaching the price of both my mouse & headphone combined. I think I'll wait for the ROCCAT Isku. I love the design and shape of the keyboard. I had a look at the Valo wasn't impressed it didn't have wrist rest space. Isku has ample of space to rest my wrist now hopefully it doesn't have a xrazy price. Damn the release date for Isku is July 2011 sweat.gif

Was gaming with the ROCCAT Kone[+] mouse and I had the Logitecth MX518 that mouse was awesome and this new mouse has the same shape it was so easy for me to get comfortable with. I love the fragging I'm currently doing with the mouse. Friends using it love it too. Very satisfied. I feel Razer needs to up their game before the cat outjumps them too thumbup.gif

One question which ROCCAT Mouse pad should I get. Which is the best surface to play on. Can someone recommend?

If you want something harder then definitely the Sota. If you prefer softer surface then would you like it to be smooth or slightly rough for more control? For smooth surface do consider the Sense, otherwise the Taito would be great.

I'm not sure surface but yongkailoon if say I need a surface for accuracy + control then which is the one I should go with. My games vary from Black Ops, L4D2, Crysis 2, Starcraft 2 etc...

Soft surface = Accuracy is it
Rough surface = More control is it

I need a middle ground surface to cater both hahahah! Sorry for the dilemma. I would say Accuracy for me is more favored if it's hard to find a middle ground.

Usually the softer surface are favored by those who always "swipe" their mouse quickly, I think snipers in FPS games are usually on the smoother surface (or some brands will call it the Speed surface).

The Taito isn't exactly rough, just that you feel a little more fraction. If you want a balanced surface, I think the Taito will be fine. biggrin.gif

I have Roccat Kone[+] mouse and Roccat Taito mousepad.
I really like the mouse and the mousepad, but recently I've had
some problems with the mouse flickering a bit.

In normal internet use you may not even notice it, but in FPS games
you Definitely notice it, and its very very annoying.

I have also tried turning off TCU and recalibrating it.
Weirdest thing is, it work fine on my wooden table,
but I don't want to keep the mouse on the table
because it makes an awful lot of noise.

Anybody had the same problem ?
Don't know what to do.

I personally would Not recommend the Roccat Valo.

This is what I think of it:

Cons:
- Backlight keeps a high pitch noise (at least for me)
- Backlight is very dimm
- If you use volume up/down or mute keys the keyboard gets reaaally slow
- On-keyboard macro recording is useless
- LCD screen not working correctly (it updates like every other minute, and for me it never updated if I set it to show CPU usage)

Pros:
- Shitload of macro keys and profiles
- LCD screen
