Only for rich men area... Everywhere except Ampang in Selangor...  cry.gif

Hi everyone! wave.gif

Bangsar, TTDI, Shah Alam and Subang Jaya, first areas.

Ampang tak ada, i don't think so.

By the way, the names of the places, reflect the name of the exchange, not just the name of the location itself.

For example, TTDI is Taman Tun Dr Ismail, but it refers to the TTDI exchange, that also covers Penchala, Bandar Utama, Damansara Jaya, Damansara Utama for example...

But then again, if you think about it, one exchange point can support how many areas and users per area???

Ampang is basically in between Cheras and Kajang... Its also so close to KL City Centre... Despite everything, they left out Ampang...

We don't really much alternatives here... Its only Streamyx and P1... DiGi and Maxis oso got, but not popular... Too many complaints...

I wish to move out of Ampang... So over-populated... So much so, even the MRR-II highways is soooooo saturated with traffic when it comes to Ampang...

Any idea one Exchange point can support how many users and areas???

Is its capacity more than Streamyx exchange point... Quite jealous with Google talking about 1 gigabits and 10 gigabits...

The question is that Ampang is covered by which exchange eh? Need to know the name of the exchange.

If Bandar Utama, it is "TDI" on the TM box, meaning the exchange is in Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

So far, most areas covered by TTDI exchange already installed with fibre boxes, hehe.

I actually saw them planting some cables in the sewage, with the sign board saying, "Harap Maaf. Projek Pemasangan Jalur Lebar Sedang Dilakukan" or something like that in front of Menara MPAJ... Pardon if my BM is bad, its rusty... lol!

What's sad is that, I actually applied for 4 Mbps, but the TM Technician claimed my place is 3 KM away from the exchange port...

Bukit Bintang, a high economy area getting it in Q4... that's laughable... My foot la, want to help business survive...

It doesn't seem like government cares whether these foreign investments are taken care or not... Since they have been pushing for high speed internet at a more affordable price...

and Bukit Bintang is only less 15 minutes away from place, if without traffic...

I wonder if its something got to do with Ong Tee Keat, since he's the MP for Ampang Jaya... lol!

I don't think it is related.

Well...at the moment, HSBB passed about 239,000 premises.

March, more than 300,000 premises.

The goal is by 2012, 1.3 million premises.

hmm.gif But to increase from 239,000 to 304,000 premises is no easy task... But just hope they'll expand to my area... So boring here stuck with 1 mbps @ RM 88 per month... lol!

Not really that bad.... But it fluctuates all the time... Now will be full speed, five minutes later, half the speed, 10 minutes later, 3/4 of full speed, then go down to 5 kbps... Like crazy... lol! But sometimes, you do get full-speed all the time... What's frustrating is that websites like TeamTalk.com and YouTube are so slow... Any websites with podcast, streaming videos or "SELECTED" news portals will be slow... lol!

How your side like???

My area is Maxis landline, so no TM line here.
